Lost

This pain inside tearing me apart
all that's left is the shattered pieces of my heart
I pick them up but they shatter once more
i wonder what im living for.

you smile your laughter
light up my life
Like the day you asked me
to be your wife

Now theres just sadness
tears and pain
but i know i have to start again

Maby one day you'll be there once more
to help me pick my heart up off the floor

Maby one day ill see you smile again
maby one day ill be free of this pain

Till that day ill hold you in my heart
even though each second
its tearing me apart.

Where Has He Gone

The man i love his sweet and kind
the man i love keeps my feelings in mind
the man i love embraces me in his arms
and this man i love keeps me safe from all harms

Romantic and gentle, soft spoken and warm
a man who can brave the wildest of storms

full of passion, full of love
a special gift from up above
so full of life, so full of joy
a man who treated me like a lady not a toy

He ebbed away left my side
now all i want to do is hide

Heartake and hope is all i have now
the hope that someday ill find him again
somehow.

Alone and Broken

he told me he loved me but where is he now
he told me he loved me made me believe somehow
now im alone empty and blue
wondering what now im suppose to do

he told me he would change
give up the crack i gave him a chance
and he threw it right back

asked to take me for a meal so we could sit and talk
and here alone again once more this lonely
road i walk

tattered and torn feeling so low
which direction now do i go
lost and lonely but i must carry on
knowing it wont last to long

his child i may be carrying
so its hurting even more
if am am what kind of life
does it have in store

i dont know what way my life will go but
i have to be strong
this much i know.
