A Token of Love

A loving gift of appreciation
all that you have done
throughout the times spent
out of others, you were the one
the person that saw me through
the one that understood
the person that cared the most
the one that showed support
a gift of love
a gift of appreciation
a reward that is so genuine
because you deserve the best
thanks for the great times
being so kind, all of the moments
the laughs, the love
all the rest, just because.

The Signs Are Given

Where is the love?
The hate is always there
Giving signs
Like, "Oh beware"
I have sense
I know there's no care
Just there only to share
Too many signs
Overtaken by guilt
Trying to be all slick
I pray for the hurts
Treated like dirt
I forgive, for I shall live.

No matter what the situation 
Time passes by
Leave or stay
The relationships a lie.

I am free
Gone to another phase
Do you believe that I'm in a daze?
Think again, Don't be amazed
On my own
For I will be gone.

Not looking back
untraceable tracks
All of the miserable attacks
Just unknown paybacks
From the past held in
To be mended
Trying to destroy me
Won't work, now I see.

Cannot wait until this journey ends
Running fast from the Lion's den
A new life begins 
To better days
Not here to stay
Thanking God I'm on my way.

Testimony

It was real

No one knows what I've been through

A testimony, a cry for help

Jesus steps in and picked me up

Going through all kinds of tests

Not just one, Multiple at it's best

God, will this ever end?

My Faith, Angels was sent

On bended knees, I plead

The tests were back to back

All in one large sack

God gives me Grace

Making all type of ways

Not only then, until this day

I Praise God, for the many Blessings receive

I continued in Prayer on Bended Knees

The, not true stories the rumors too

Oh God now what do I do?

Keeping the Faith as I shall always

God fought my battles in those deep dark days

My trust stands stronger than ever before

I'm still here with wisdom, wiser, stronger

The tests and trials seemed so much longer

Looking back at it all I made it through

Grace and Mercy God gave me to

I Have To Do What I Have To Do

Working two jobs to support me
It is not easy
God gives me grace each day
Great jobs, both are office setting
Sometimes can be stressful
If I let it be
Continuing on working, that's me.

I earn my pay
I do my day
Off to the second job after the first, right away.
Some weekends a time to rest
Relax, enjoy, daily tasks
Business-Minded invest.

Another long day
Working to have what it takes to live nice
Yes, can be overwhelming to
But, I have to do what I have to do.


Great salaries, I can pay my own way
Until this day I manage
All finances balanced.

I thank God, who gives me the strength
Paying my bills, including the rent
Working the two jobs is only temporary.

A nice place, with a nice view
Dependable transportation too.

Paying my tithes
Attending Church
It is worth it, off to work.
I have to do what I have to do.

More Love In the World

The hate, the wait
the crimes, the times
endless situations occur
where is love?
why so much hatred?
amongst those that are known
where is the love? Some families are feuding
misguided confusion
air pollutions
germs and toxic environments
unemployment on the rises
flooding and unknown substances
water contaminated in some areas
the world in hate, in so many places
where is the love?
not getting along
no reason at all
just an unlike
some are scorned
where is the love?
making a difference 
changing the atmospheres
showing your love
a legacy is known
giving a hug, changing a life
not bitter and always strife
within you, there is a goal
showing a smile is worth the while
more love is needed, not a lot of hate

A Visit To Paris

The vacation scenes were beautiful
sailing on the waters, looking at scenes
the two gathered together
looking at each other
as whispering winds, waives of waters
not to be bothered

Love is so genuine
the touching of arms
the smiles everlasting
eyes are so bright
as the night falls
entering into the daylight.

Sympathy After All Is Over

A sad day of remembrance
awaken in the hours of the nights
praying and searching for answers
nobody is reachable
during the time of the sympathy
the people gather to pay their respects
later on in the journey of life
you find yourself neglected
where are they? You are alone
everyone's has gone
you find yourself continue in praying
God give me grace
after all, is over
loved one is gone
cover me oh Lord, in your arms
life is hard to move on
time passes by, the tears and cries
God can see you through
