All Quiet On the Western Front

All quiet on the western front,
the grass is dead, it has been shot.
Million soldiers have died on it
and million will, with me included.

All quiet on the western front,
why nothing changes, know I not.
It's the same old killing, the same old dying,
if soldiers could, they'd now be crying.

All quiet on the western front,
Paul writes her mum that here it's hot.
In the letter he doesn't say it,
the war is ending and we won't win it.

Your Eyes

Your eyes they give me strength,
They keep me sane and donate health,
They have me locked inside your heart
And it now seems I won’t depart.
These magical blue eyes of yours
Make me yours, yes on all fours,
They keep me nailed in front of you,
So I couldn’t resist, so I couldn’t move.
Your deep blue eyes are in my mind
And yes I know that they are mine,
Your eyes have achieved that what is prime,
I love you until the end of time.

I See You Smiling

I see you smiling in my dreams,
I feel your touch as if you were here,
I smell your hair like once I did,
I know you’re here, you just can’t be seen.

I see us holding hands,
I feel your lips on mine,
I smell your skin like you were never gone,
I know you’re around, you’ve always been.

I see the future clearly now,
I feel that I always want to be with you,
I smell the flowers in our soon-to-be garden,
I know it can’t happen, but it’s allowed to dream.

Postcard

I got a postcard just today,
It was sent from France,
Where heads your way?

When first I read it,
I simply broke down.
I sat there, crying,
I needed you around.

My life’s full of lies,
You’re one of them.
When I opened my eyes,
You were gone again.

Now I’m sitting here,
Thinking of life.
I’m holding balance
On destinies pipe.

Less - More

I find myself sitting on a shabby old bed,
in a room where everything seems to be dead.
I stare at the ceiling like it wouldn't be there,
I find myself thinking of being prepared.

I have to be ready when autumn has come,
I should be ok when you have gone.
Gone, disappeared suddenly into mist,
gone, forever. Does it have to be this?

I sometimes still try to resist you,
I hope you feel the same way too.
Whatever way I try to forget you,
the more I fall in love with you.

If I Died

If I died this very evening,
Will you know what love is meaning?
Would you cry a lot of tears?
Could your eyes be filled with fear?

If I died this very night,
Would you say that all is right?
Would you know what I was feeling?
What at all should you be feeling?

If I died this very morning,
How long do you think you would be mourning?
Would you be conquered with tears,
Or would you move on, lose all fears?

Time Changes, Lorries Don'T

Here I am to tell you a story
of an old and broken lorry
and it's friend, the old garage,
they were both heroes once.

Back by decades it happened once
that some guy bought a garage.
Believe me was the man surprised,
when he saw a lorry inside.

The lorry wasn't in the deal,
but there it was and it was his.
So the man soon decided,
that with that car he wants to ride with.

He popped the hood, made sure it worked,
turned on the engine and went to work.
He did the same each workday morning,
until one he got a mysterious warning.

It was strange and it was yellow,
it said the garage was being hollowed.
Of course the owner didn't like it,
so he sued the city hall and by god, he won.

The town had evil plans before,
they were going to build a shopping mall.
But since the little garage had stayed,
all nice old building stayed there and smiled.

Overnight the city loved him,
the people smiled and gave them gifts,
it lasted for some weeks
and that was it.

They all forgot the nice old man,
his big blue truck and the sad garage.
Now the city plans a scyscraper
and guess whose garage is again on the papers.

Tomorrow

Little sister, please don’t fear,
It will only be one year.
You will go to school each day,
I just won’t be here to say “Hey”

My dear mama, please don’t cry,
I’ll be back soon, it’s ok.
Life at home will be the same,
Only I won’t be home late.

Daddy, daddy, lose the sorrow,
I will join the army tomorrow.
Today we’ll have to have some fun,
Celebrate the things we’ve done.

Honey, do not look so sad,
You’ll come to visit me with dad.
If you can, then do not cry,
Because all shall be alright.

Friends, don’t you sit there, hollow,
Come and laugh over tomorrow.
A little humor makes it better,
Makes it funny, like some beggar.

Three Piglets

Three little piglets went down the road,
they rolled as if their being toed.
No one really knew their heading,
but they ended up in the butchers wedding.

Two little pigs jumped up and down,
ran miles around their owners farm.
They ran and ran and ran and ran,
until a barbecue began.

One tiny swine was left to live,
they didn't eat him, why the hell?
Then once the piglet felt like sleeping,
he died within it, he died while dreaming.

What people want, no we don't know.
Sometimes some lives just have to go.
One final thing there is to state,
what God can give, God can take.

Ages

We've been together for ages now
and I still love your perfume.
I never get tired of living with you
and I don't think I should, too.

Not money can change my feelings for you,
nobody can to that to me.
All I need is your love, your warmth, your eyes,
I'll always belong to you.

I hope were together forever this way,
I hope, because I don't know.
Love me, please darling, love me all day
and I will never go.
