Whispers

In the middle of the night dead screams arise,
they've fulfilled the darkness on earth.
These gruesome whispers are no surprise,
but they've got me scared and lost.

I just am quietly on my bed,
feeling the darkness smothering me.
Only shrieks in the night tie us,
no one will look for you there.

We went to visit the woods,
we went, but only I came.
We walked through endless forests,
where you can't be found and I am to blame.
