Self Worth

Don’t let him change the way you feel about your self worth
Don’t let him make you doubt how great you are inside
His true self and meaning in life will soon be unearthed
And everything you held so high on him will have to subside.

The ever so changing winds will move you on your corrected path
Against the grain and rough terrain to help you bloom
To know that you no longer stay in his painful wrath
No longer will the doubt, anger and self worth consume.

A new beginning, an outlook of life that brings you to an enlightened road
A new chapter, with new people and life that brings you pleasure
With great passion and love will Gods gift be bestowed
To grow and love to an infinite amount that can never be measured.

As each challenged day you see facing with fear
Breathe again and know, the changing winds have begun
A new chapter and friends are always so near
And know that this challenge of the day you have won.

I Can Love Again

I can love again, I say in a loud voice
I won’t hold back, I will give it my all
I will listen more carefully and care more deeply
I will smile more often and laugh so brightly
I will acknowledge my faults and correct them when I can
I will share my love with the world one person at a time
I will see the secrets and miracles of life constantly surrounding me
Take a breath, hold yourself up,
That moment of loneliness and darkness will pass
I can love again, I say in a loud strong voice.

True Love

My heart rate dramatically increases and I have a moment of weakness when he
is near.
My stomach turns into knots and my breath is constricted.
My thoughts, never ending with the love I feel and my heart and soul know no fear
His faint scent and devilish smile with a great heart left me so addicted,

I see his heart and soul in those soft hazel eyes
He encompasses me in his warm, safe, tender embrace
My heart rate increases and in that moment of weakness, I look to the skies,
In hopes for a magnificent angel to stop time in its place.

In a moment’s time, my world turned to darkness and happiness faded away
He walked out of my world as quickly as he came in and stole my heart.
I lost any sense of direction and time in a day
Lost in deep dark sea of painful thoughts, not knowing were to start.

My hands and arms continue to reach for him although he is not here.
My eyes continue to search for his, but no one is to be found
My broken heart filled with so many emotions and nothing is clear
Clouded by memories and love, my soul is finally bound.

But yet I take one stride at a time in hopes to come closer to the one that holds
my heart,
I step from the cold darkness, in which he once left me behind,
I pick up the broken pieces and look forward to a new start
A beginning with faith and hope to guide me in my true love, I will find.

The Journey

So much anger builds inside
Theres no way out, no way to go
Can't seem to find a path or guide
Not able to move or grow
So many emotions are kept within
Hidden amongst the happy smiles
Can't even grasp were I can begin
My journey can go on for miles.

My journey may begin with one little stride
But I am fearful of what lies ahead
Anxiety builds up and all I want to do is hide
Alone on this journey I must tread
On this journey I must find strength
To gather courage to find my way
I must go beyond all lengths
To keep my heart from fading away.

What Lies Ahead

So how does one pick themselves up from such a drastic fall
How does one get out of a self dug earthen hole so small,
There is no one here to hear me or guide me
There is no one here to help me or set me free,
So how do you get the courage and strength to look ahead
To look past what kind and type of life that we led,
Our hearts still and always will hold a sense of pureness to our changing
existence
Our blind faith and hope we fight within ourselves creates a world of resistance
But yet we manage to look ahead down the weary road of change as we get up
once again
We stand up tall, brush the dirt from our tired exhausted bodies and walk through
the pain,
We walk down the path not knowing what lies down that long rugged terrain
As we step with our hearts to guide us and our friends by our side we can finally
let go of the pain.
