Mistrust

My words depart as I try
To explain these happenings
Mistrust has poke its ugly head
And is dragging my family apart
Husband against wife
Mother against daughter
Brother against sister
We all are pointing blaming fingers at bloodline
Burning our eyes with hatred
With no prophecy of it ever ending
I’m on a cross road not knowing where to look
Lost in flying words
Words thrown out of anger
Mouth felled with sour love and sweet hatred
Eyes swollen with pain and anger
Face deformed with fold marks
Decedent’s of Cain we have become
Investigating each other
And forgetting to be each other’s keeper
Stretching leg at a moving brother
Folding arms at a falling him
We all are masters in our own worlds
A lone wolf we have become
So I sought to find a solution
To close Pandora’s box
And seek the paradise that is long lost
I hope to find remedy to end a family heritage
The only treasure that we have.

The Girl With Diamond Eyes

THE GIRL WITH DIAMOND EYES
Ask me how we met
And a smile will you get as an answer
In a multitude did I spot her
In a thousand did my heart skip a beat
She stole her way into my life
Like a thief at night did she invade
My helpless heart couldn’t help but gave in
A smile was all it took to break my password
Her presence I never grew weary of
Her voice the only melody I wished to hear
Ours was a love story so beautiful and lovely
It was all I needed to vanquished my sorrows
When our eyes first met I searched the skies for stars
Only to find them in her eyes
Never had I seen eyes so lovely
Large they were like the diamond on Solomon’s scepter
She didn’t need to say anything because her eyes says it all
And oh when she smiles
I see diamonds in her eyes
We were best of friends
And mine was a diamond to keep
A priceless jewel she was
Happiness was now my best companion
Until the day I drop my diamond
I searched everywhere yet didn’t find her
So I turned to leave
Little did I know that my love longed to see me
So I lost my diamond
One so precious it brought only joy to me
Now I leave without her beautiful self
In loneliness I watch the day pass buy
She has left with the stars in her eyes
Now my nights are without stars
All I have are memories of a love once new
Killing me as it brought life to my dying heart
I wish to have her in my arms again
A crystal palace will I build for her
Knowing her was a coincidence
Invading my heart was a miracle
Making her my own was a dream come true
Meeting at our secret place was blissful
Yes all my days will I spend waiting for her

Spring Love

To every beginning there is an end
Just as too much laughter brings tears to the eyes
So does too much love brings jealousy to the heart
The Lover bird sings happily as it await the spring
To bring to it its love one
For sometime they are lovers
But as spring passes so quickly so does it love stories.
Happiness is like a burning flame fanned by love
And the presence of a love one is fuel to it
So die it will when love depart from you
The agony of seeing a love one leaves
Is like circumcision in ones youth
And all they leave you are better sweet memories
Of the glory days of yesterday
The only time you see them is when they
Decide to appear in your dreams
Leaving you in the misery of not knowing if
They also even dream of you.
Each day you say a little prayer
That you will see them but once again
Even if for just a split second
Your world will be complete once again
I will love to make a wish that my love
Just like the love bird comes with the spring
But unfortunately for me, these days
Stars don’t shoot anymore.
Once upon a time I was in love
Like a peacock proud I was
Lost in the ocean of love never to come ashore
Everyday brought its own adventure
And every moment was worth saving in memory
But as every story has an ending
So has my love story ended

My Sunflower

I have fallen in love with a sunflower
The way it opens to meet the morning sun
The way it stands out among the rest
Its beautiful color brightens my world
Its scent awaken a desire in me
The way it swings and move to the rhythm of the wind
Draws me to sing it a song
My girl reminds me of a sunflower
Most beautiful among the rest
Her smile flashes all my sorrows away
Her body movement as calculated as the sea waves
In her arms I forget life worries
In her eyes I see the beauty in everything
Her voice is music to my soul
With her everyday is worth living
My hearts long only for her
My lips wishes to rest on hers
Her breast are like fresh watermelons
Her teeth like snow crystals
So my love for her is as green as the Amazon never to dry up
And she will forever be my little sunflower.

Shameless

She throws the clock
Half way across the room
For the alarm sounded too early
Forgetting she set it herself
She stretch and turns the other way

Last night she was at a party
She drunk her shame away
When she came back
It was half past midnight
She was half asleep anyway

She jumps on the bed
Forgetting her shoes and dress
She was long gone before she could reset the alarm

She has class at 8:00am
It's 8:10am already
The teacher can teach the tables and chairs
For she has no interest today
For last night she drunk her shame away

Mystic Love

Beside her bed I lay
Oblivious to my surroundings
Lost in the ocean of love
Feel with ecstasy
An illusion of paradise

Her body contour paralyzed me
Her voice drained my energy
Enchanted in her wits
I fell prey to her beauty
Locked in the dungeon of love

A fairytale I lived in
A happily ever after I hoped for
A Prince Charming I was
A damsel in distress she was
A castle of gold we lived in

Her presence was magical
Her perfume was blissful
Her nagging was music to my ear
Her anger was adorable to behold

Demon Within

*Demon
The greatest agony to my soul
Were done by my own hands
Regrets I leave with day and night
Praying to he that keeps date and times
May he roll back his arms
So I undo what had been done

They hunt my poor soul
Invading my dreams and reality
Leaving me with fear and pain
Hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel
To end this nightmare of mine

I seek for the demon hurting me
For I know not my foe
I was mine own demon
I fight a demon within
A battle I wish but never win
For I fight a demon within
