Spring Love

To every beginning there is an end
Just as too much laughter brings tears to the eyes
So does too much love brings jealousy to the heart
The Lover bird sings happily as it await the spring
To bring to it its love one
For sometime they are lovers
But as spring passes so quickly so does it love stories.
Happiness is like a burning flame fanned by love
And the presence of a love one is fuel to it
So die it will when love depart from you
The agony of seeing a love one leaves
Is like circumcision in ones youth
And all they leave you are better sweet memories
Of the glory days of yesterday
The only time you see them is when they
Decide to appear in your dreams
Leaving you in the misery of not knowing if
They also even dream of you.
Each day you say a little prayer
That you will see them but once again
Even if for just a split second
Your world will be complete once again
I will love to make a wish that my love
Just like the love bird comes with the spring
But unfortunately for me, these days
Stars don’t shoot anymore.
Once upon a time I was in love
Like a peacock proud I was
Lost in the ocean of love never to come ashore
Everyday brought its own adventure
And every moment was worth saving in memory
But as every story has an ending
So has my love story ended
