Scaredies

Have you ever seen a ghost?
Flittering all around
Or maybe a dark shadow
Floating off the ground

Maybe you heard a funny sound
You did not recognise
Or a face in the mirror
With big black starey eyes

Ever had the covers pulled off you
When your're asleep in bed
Heard some funny voices
And thought they were in yor head

Thought that you were being watched
And saw that no-ones there
Had the horrible feeling
That someone's behind the chair

Maybe it's your angel
Keeping you nice and safe
Or is it something nasty
To come and take your place

Dreaming

Dragon fire and fairy wings,
Myth and magic, wizards and rings,
Through the door into fantasy land,
With the Elven warriors stand.

I will go where my dreams take me,
Over the land, or out to sea,
An explorer out in a foreign land,
Or on the stage, leading a band.

On a catwalk in a party dress,
Getting dirty and making a mess,
On the night train, rocking away,
Dreaming along to a brand new day.

Alice

I wonder what it was like to be Alice?
Who fell down the rabbit hole
To fall through space, and find a place
Quite different from home

To have tea with the Hatter
The Doormouse, and their friends
Finding cakes and labelled bottles
Growing and shrinking at both ends

Playing croquet with the Queen
A flamingo for a bat
'Off with their heads' the Queen did scream
What did Alice think of that?

Grinning like the Chesire Cat
Trying to get to tiny yards
When it was over, and that was that
It was just a pack of cards

Charlie Bubble

I have a little friend
His name is Charlie Bubble
He's naughty and mischevious
and gets me into trouble
It's only me who sees him
And I get quite glum
When I'm getting told off
For what Charlie Bubble's done
Why can't mum believe me
When I say it's Charlie's fault
I'm sick of getting told off
And mum giving me a clout
I'm getting rid of Charlie
I think I will get by
I'm going to be a grown up
And wave Charlie Bubble bye bye

Tears

I wipe a teardrop from my eye,
Another drops on the kerb,
I have a hole in my aching heart,
It's where you used to be,
Should it hurt as much as this?
You say you'll change, but you never do,
I've just had enough, but can't let you go.

When I

How will you cope when I'm dead and gone?
Will you be able to carry on?
With the empty space in the bed,
No one to warm your back at night,
No one to wish you a sleepy goodnight,
Remember to keep yourself nice and clean,
You know how to use the washing machine,
Pay the bills and eat your meals,
Try not to think how sad you feel,
Think of me at least once a day,
I'll try to get back to you someway,
I ask you to be happy dear,
And I hope you'll feel as though I'm near,
When the time comes I'll be waiting there,
Out across the calm blue sea,
In our favourite place I'll be.

Lost Life

Just a bit of tissue,
Hidden on a shelf,
Is all thats left of her life,
When she was herself,
The faded copy of a book,
Left on the bedrrom floor,
It fell off the bed,
When she banged her head,
On the bedroom door,
They couldn't hear her calling,
For help into the night,
When she came to in the morning,
She got a great big fright,
She could'nt remember anything,
About the previous night,
She forgot it altogether,
And found a brand new life.

Lost In the Dark Place

I hate it when my head is lost in the dark place,
When my feelings get churned up, and I'm cold,
Maybe it's just the fact I'm getting older,
Or is it the dark place getting more bold,
In the dark place I tend to be outspoken,
Speak my mind, not caring what it cost,
Is there someone out there that understands me?
Or am I the only one thats feeling lost?

Lost

Out of the corner of my eye,
I thought I saw something pass me by,
A whisp of smoke, A piece of cloth,
Could it be a spirit lost?

Inspiratiion
What can I write
Inspiration
Won't come tonight
Inspiration
What can I do
Inspiration
Will come to you
Inspiration
I'm going to fight
Inspiration
To get it right
Inspiration
Has won the day
Inspiration
It's gone away
Inspiration
Not today
