When I
How will you cope when I'm dead and gone?
Will you be able to carry on?
With the empty space in the bed,
No one to warm your back at night,
No one to wish you a sleepy goodnight,
Remember to keep yourself nice and clean,
You know how to use the washing machine,
Pay the bills and eat your meals,
Try not to think how sad you feel,
Think of me at least once a day,
I'll try to get back to you someway,
I ask you to be happy dear,
And I hope you'll feel as though I'm near,
When the time comes I'll be waiting there,
Out across the calm blue sea,
In our favourite place I'll be.
