April Kelly Poem
The fire is burning, though I feel no warmth.
Under the heavy night sky, I shiver.
All around me people laugh and chat.
I loathe them for being so joyful.
When they look me in the eyes, I know that they pity me.
Even they can tell that when they closed your coffin,
they smothered my soul. My heart writhes in agony
at the thought of never being with you again.
I don't want to go on with my life without you beside me.
Why don't I just let you go, instead of forcing myself to
remember your touch, your feel.
I just want to be with you again.
Around me, the world has gone black.
All I can see is your face. I listen for their voices,
but yours intercedes them.
I want to see you again. To feel your breath on my face.
To have you hold me when I'm scared.
You tell me that I should just follow you. I will.
I miss you so much. I just let go of the world,
and drift away with you.

April Kelly Poem
Though rivers are shallow
and oceans are deep,
Our love is true love,
it's something we'll keep.
As the days go by,
they'll turn into years,
not only will I cry,
blood will follow my tears.
There's glory on Earth,
and Heaven in your eyes,
but is our love really worth it,
or is it just a bunch of lies?
