Stamped Denied

Come on boys' sign your name, train them, and send them out to fight.
Praise them once a year, let 22 die with a red stamped denied.
Fight the battles within, “NO!!! YOU DON’T QUALIFY.”
How many times does he have to break down?
The battle is fought in silence, kept within.
The untold story, so you won’t judge him.
How long before he breaks? Ghosts take control.
Just ask for help, then say “you don’t qualify.”
Live a night in his mind, see if you can survive.
I don’t judge him, I just hope I can keep him alive.
I shield his hidden scars, the same ones you deny.
Tell him his’s important, trying to override, the dark rider in his mind
His mind heading back to hell, you wait for a bullet.
It’s not serious yet? Honor and Respect.
Yet, the valley of death is always on his mind, and you say it’s not enough.
You are so blind see only with your eyes, deny a broken mind.
Biggest fight is to the stamp powerful claim “DENIED”.
Leave many no choice but, to permanently darken, the forever flashing lights,
To silence the money mind, you simply stamped “Denied”.

Perfect Imperfection

Perfect Imperfection
By Fabiola Rios

Earth could be in a hellfire blazing with hate, negativity, and hands open to clap upon our failure, yet together we yield a power capable of shielding us; protecting ourselves with our own flaws. we take the negative and only hear the compliments.

We are flawed diamonds whom require a lots of shaping, polishing; even a diamond can be ruined if the not in the handled by some who can bring out its true potential.
We are still polishing and shaping our love, fixing the mistakes or others to make our own diamond unique.

Perfection is a perception defined by someone's perspective of and ideal which make just an illusion to others, if perfection means deceiving your own ideas, look for your own perfection with some whom your flaws means their perfection.

Others called you as a deception, to me you are my perfection, the diamond misshaped by a bad gem cutter. We are two diamonds once called zirconia, we saw the beauty hidden.

We are defiant, never setting in to standard of a boring perfection, but embracing the idea that perfection is flawed, outspoken, corky, and secretly desired by those who lack the power and creativity to challenge the norm.

Our defections created the most wonderful perfections, labeled as defected children for being creative, challenging the norm, questioning ideas and methods. Intelligence beyond comprehension, for they not praised but questioned.

We where not flawed, just a puzzle in the wrong box. We have found our set, the one left aside for being to hard to piece together. Intelligence is called defiance by those who lack the knowledge. Speaking works with out meaning, is praise. We are odd for placing value in words spoken with meaning.

We are what society calls outcasts, but blending in IS a deception to ourselves. the imperfect you gave me the two best so called imperfections.

Broken Love

Broken, defective, tarnish and tainted by the demon for being too innocent.
She cried many nights in silent shame, secretly letting pain flow tainted in red.
Trying to find the way to end the pain, like a speechless coward she ran.
Smiling every day, her smile was nothing but a lie, too scared to try.

He was hiding his ghosts, avoiding Morningstar for he could see the unseen scars.
The battles pulling him back every night, lying in the light with a crooked smile.
He was death falling from above, running from past and hide from undeserving love.

To all they were a mistake, never going to make it. Too broken, too tainted, too damaged.
She saw past his darken eyes, to his light brown eyes, she was unafraid of his demons.
He saw her smile, its warmed his heart. He stood strong by her side never letting her fall.

The broken, joined their lives, still fighting inside. Together as one they bond.
Sunrise by sunrise they won several battles, for death will was near and yet they were strong.
She see’s past his darken eyes to the honey of his soft loving eyes.
He makes her smile, with a twinkle in the eyes, heart no longer hollow but warmth by him.

They were once broken, but today they feel so alive.
There is no more pain, together, side by side they never give.
She and him are much alike, they stand side to side.

The warm has fused them, stronger as one, they are no longer broken.
They are just two people truly in love. No longer to be called the broken love.

The Spotlight

All eyes always on you, I stand outside your spotlight.
The fights end only when I drop my soul and give you the white flag,
It’s always my fault, somehow, I’m the one to blame for your mistakes.
My guard is always up, never trying to start a war.
I gave up on trying to share your light, go ahead keep it; I don’t want.
Excuses, I always have to make. The battle is all in your head.
A dance for me to shine, no way; in the corner stupidly, I wait.
Life passes you thru the lens it's so fake.
The fool waiting for her dance, the guests laugh away.
The secrets that make you doubt, the lies that you believe.
I have learned to hate the light, to live on the side, walk in your shadow.
I still stand on the side, wake you as you call out the demons of your past.
My fingers have a voice one you will never truly hear, twisted are my words.
You will one see my mistake, this is my betrayal, as you cry “un poor me.”
Your ears are deaf, your mind is so blind your eyes no longer see.
Your way will one day push everyone away.
The spotlight is yours for the take; this battle is yours
Never was it your fault, I will always take the blame.
Don’t worry they won’t know my pain, I can fake a smile, learned it the hard way.
“baby I got this” inside I break, the lies I tell to protect you.
What in the light once, for the fool who never dances.
The shame, the moment was perfect everyone, but you noticed,
O the one sitting to one side never to dance in the light.
