Neelam Shah Poem
Some where out there in the lands,
A little boy longs to hold his mothers hands
A mother’s angelic voice bids him goodnight,
She whispers gently to his little ears ‘sleep tight’.
And she gives a warm soft kiss on his fragile small head
She turns off the light, quietly shuts the door and walks ahead.
Mother sleeping in the night awakes as soon as she hears her son’s screams
And rushes with panic, soon she is comforting him of his terrible dreams.
Mother takes her son to school for the first time,
Scared and worried she reassures him and says you will be fine.
10 years later he is no longer a child but is still a young man
Still looked after by his mother who is his only biggest fan.
Sadly few months later mother has slowly faded away
Leaving her son to be independent, and lead his own way.
Some where out there in the lands,
A little boy no longer holds his mothers hands.

Silent Voice
What is the silent voice?
Silent voice is a conscience,
telling you what is right or wrong.
Some people don’t listen to it,
and choose to ignore it.
But they can’t as it always,
be there with you.
Whether it is an inner cry or a
Call, the voice can not disappear.
The voice can be a creeping whisper,
Persuading you to listen to it,
or a cry for help.
The voice can be angelic and sound innocent.
It can be helpful and your guide to success,
but are there others that are not.
There are voices which can be devilish,
haunting you in your dreams,
disturbing your daily life,
and they can torment you with blood,
curdling screams in the night.
Some voices should not be trusted.
But what should you listen to.
What is the silent voice?

Neelam Shah Poem
Shadows
Whether they will be small, huge, tiny, big,
Short, tall, round, large or giant from anything and everything in this world,
Shadows always appear.
They will become attached to you when the light rays,
Casts when something blocks you in the dark and,
Follow you like a noir copycat mime.
The silhouette forms the basis of a 2 dimensional figures of darkness,
You can witness them emerge from the naked eye,
Silhouettes can appear anywhere any location,
In dark Alley ways on street with a street lamp at midnight hours,
Silhouettes of groups of people or friends are casted walking back at night on walls.
Or the silhouette of cinematic viewer’s heads rowed in cinema in the dark,
When the screen is lit, or in the sunset in Texas where the silhouette of a lonely horse,
Is casted on the ranch alone in the range, From a lonely desolate cactus parched from the sun dying of water.
Whether they will be small, huge, tiny, big,
Short, tall, round, large or giant from anything in this world,
Shadows always appears.
