Relative-Ity

Relativity says go faster
And time travel backward you master.
But no tempting your fate
Making out with a date,
Cause kissing your dad’s a disaster.

The Yearning...

Lusciously liquid
your gaze lights on me,
warming my skin where
eyes longingly trace
contours of a smile.

Tantalizing
your scent coaxes
me to draw in
essence of you.

Your smile pulls
On my heart-
Connections.

Your words
Make me

Crave.

Insomnia

My mind is looping,
never done -
I'm counting sheep,
but only one.

Ever Nurturing...

So tender your nape
as the hair parts,
falls forward,
exposes that which is
hidden beneath
the armor worn...

You give to me
this parting of your soul
cognizant
to pain, to suffering
I might deliver.
But, tender lips
to the edges
of your unveiled emotions,
instead I apply.

Evening's Eyes

Night slowly lowers
violet-stained lids, sealing off
her secretive thoughts.

Golden

Sun broaches Earth’s cusp,
spills golden treasure into
waiting bowl below

Splay

Wild and unkempt, the field croons to me,
a siren's call beseeching
to play tag with the wind,
sprinting across the uneven surface
and splay full-length, face-down
upon her mossy breast.

I gluttonously drink gulps of her scent,
fecund and rich and savory
enough to satisfy my appetite.
Then she whispers softly,
mere breath-brushes against my neck,
as the pull of an unheard heart-thump
draws me down
to nestle deeper in her caress.

The curly blades of grass trill arias
as they sing across my skin,
and tiny red ants
march to their drumbeat of life
in rank order rows tangent to my face,
while a solitary spider
dangles from a single silken strand.
.
I lie hidden from the world
by my sentient shield
immersed in the rhythm
and innate magic of my overgrown meadow.

Delineation Effaced

Between us no line exists-
sans demarcation of where you end
and I begin.
Your lips caress my neck
sinking through flesh
to converge with spine –
no boundaries.
We together are miscible,
at all levels
melting into each other,
in any and all proportions-
alike.
Distinct personalities,
molten from heated emotions,
meld to form
alloys of incredible strength,
durability –
last forever.
Transparent thoughts
creatively intertwine-
commingle.
Juxtaposed bodies ,
bring into existence
liquifed love,
passion flowing-
together the epitome,
perfection.
Simply complete –
we are one.

Breaking Ground

fertile mother earth
cradles inanimate life
'til heat arouses
unfurling delicate limbs
straining to touch golden warmth

Cairo

Shall we meet in Cairo,
‘neath the ancient, mystified monuments
 to forgotten love?
Halves rent apart worlds ago,
reintroducing first wild desire.

To explore scents exotic,
a tangible feast upon my tender breast,
tasting honeyed hips
with sugar-spoken lips
‘neath paled moonlight.
Trace silver tongued lines
across your dark, rippled chest
through blackest of night,
and lovely gold-hued thighs peruse –
sand and flesh abound -
as we forge a path throughout,
weaving through barriers of emotion,
layers of the heart.

Sip at my shaking breath,
consume my inhibitions,
slake my thirst upon your skin, and
consummate our hearts’ desire for
Morning comes so soon,
and we’ve not long to love.

Chase each other through markets,
now quiet behind veils,
love captured, entailed,
and granted.

And so, love,
if ever we shall meet in Cairo…
