Vasily Zaytsev

VASILY ZAYTSEV

As nature took me back into times,
To witness sadden and heroic events filled with cries, It was very soul engulfing that I couldn’t stand to witness,
But was compelled by purpose to attend.

Old time landed me safely at STARLINGARD
I beheld a sniper riffle upon a raised platform,
The shooter as I approached diminished,
And I couldn’t say something to him,
I followed my way from starlingard,
Up to YELENINSKOYE ORENBURG, There the story began.

Songs were heard in a family,
A son came into the cosmo,
With a saddened task facing him,
Unknown was it to him,
Destiny and fate moulded him in,
That was VASILY ZAYTSEV The hero of Starlingard.

Gradually he grew into a finetaker,
Tracked down a wolf with only a bullet as a kid he was satisfied, Without a view of his role in Starlingard,
Due to Hitler's territorial conquest.

Troops marching out in thousands,
Outnumbering the alluvial sands,
The hope of the world was towards Starlingard,
Since the soviet union subdued by Hitler.
Starlingard became a stronghold,
Because of the undying spirit of men in the patriotic war.

Assigned to the 1047th Riffle Regiment,
Vasily was the pride of the company which later was named 62nd army at Starlingard,
That was on 17th September 1942,
Vasily started shooting around the axis

Zealous as he was on the battlefield,
A sniper concealing his locations,
Covering a large area from three positions, Known as the "sixies" up till today.
Killing 11 scores plus armed men including 11 snipers. Making It 32 axis killings.

Undiluted spirit of enthusiasm,
Towards conquering enemies at the gates,
Manifested by his perfect shootings,
Calculating the bearings of directions of his sniper,
Diminishing enemies until he conquered,
To him there was no land beyond the ''VOLGA''

Tickles In My Head

TICKLE TICKLE IN MY HEAD

The heart can be merry,
Even if the man is not a jolly,
Gaiety of life appeases yhe heart,
Festals make even the sad one to yearn gor good music,
Believe you me,many things i tell u,
I enjoy most in life,
Which transversed into jocundrity,
All those things are but,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

Nearer to the house i advanced,
Opening the washy metal gate,
I was blown to another world,
Brighter than the crystals,
Colonised and never wanting to return,
By the aroma of the food,
Seeping out from the house,
Coming to me,
To a lower concentration,
How tasty it will be,
The meal of undoubtable sensation,
Alas, i tasted it,
How good it was ,
Like honey it was but,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

The voice of the singers,
Drums talking in the hands of its masters,
Making a melodious tune,
What an harmony to be heard.
As waists swayed to and fro,
To the tune of the music,
It being intensified to a height,
With unrelenting tenacity of the drummers,
I moved my body to the music,
It was but,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

Morning came with pleasantries,
Strolling the city,
A few meters away ,
Is the heavenly bodies made flesh,
Luminous was the beauty,
Her fairness aglows with the stars,
Hair long and crystal black,
And her body like midas gold.
I watched in awe as she passed,
What a ravished look!
She passed and waved at me,
What a feeling so great i felt,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

When it fills the pocket,
That which gives satisfaction,
That which motivates and hardens the heart of men,
Can a man do without it?
Everything good centres on it,
The treasure of the world.
Oh! You money ,
Fly like a bird and come to me,
Abide with me till eternity,
Build your castle in my heart,
For only then it will be,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

World of friends is,
A world of ideas and laughter,
A world of dissonance and accordance,
Have a good fellow and be glad,
That eases tensions of life,
What a good company to have,
Company of good virtues,
Let our jokes and laughter echo throughout the earth,
The gathering of friends is but,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

The root of love,
Miners of peace,
My place of comfort,
There in loving arms i am,
From my cradle i was there,
Beautiful faces that are always glad,
Oh! My home,
My affection for you is but,
Like a tickle tickle in my head.

All these things i must tell u,
Is LIKE A TICKLE TICKLE IN MY HEAD.

Inferno

INFERNO

As I watched from far away,
Under the sun sending down its rays,
Not willing to stare any longer,
And about to find my way out,
I noticed the earth trembling,
Followed by a cacophony,
Temperature rose in a flash,
Behold it was a volcano,
Red molten flowing down from its cone,
Arable down destroyed,
The reddish molten was like blood,
Blood of Slavery.

When will hearts of men be one?
Being different from none,
Humans being callous to another,
For exploitation of others,
Like a lion that turneth not away from its prey.

Captured with alluring promises,
With goodies and pleasantries,
Men became victims of circumstances,
Minds anticipated life with good fortunes and feature,
But least they never knew,
That their thoughts were all fiction.

Disastrous like a sirroco,
Blew the winds of the deserts,
Their human nature became weary,
Without any proper attention given,
Covering many miles,
Of which some lost their lives.

Seeing the anguish of men,
I rhapsodised about the fate of lives,
That were experiencing onslaught,
My heart was deeply exasperated,
Seeing how lives were siphoned like liquid,
The famished ones died away,
And the sands of the desert buried their bodies.
On the Mediterranean they voyaged,
Endangering lives of youthful age,
They were like unpreserved cabbage,
Experiencing the sporadic fierce tempest,
The extreme cold nights,
Accompanied with empty stomach,
Leading their skin to take the hue of an oak,
In juxtaposition with a mahogany.

Nostalgic feelings came,
The care and love shown to them at home,
Created in their hearts a hole, Which can only be filled by hope, Their condition was like perdition.

Come Home Soldier

COME HOME SOLDIER

No more sounds of tanks,
The rain of bullets has seized,
Grenades are no more fund,
Remove your helmet and lie down,
Let the peaceful breeze calm your head,
The era of peace has come,
The withered grasses now green,
Flowers shines like the Caspian sea,
Babies happily glued to mothers’ bodies,
The rain wets the ground,
And smile on everyone’s faces,
To the gallant man,
To the brave soldier who fought side by side with his comrades,
Depart from your gun and come home.

Myths

MYTHS

 Good old times
Folded and elapsed in2 wind of times,
 Never 2 come back again,
 In our present time,
But still moves d clocks of time,
 In our memories reading tides.

Embodied believe towards facts, phenomenon of experiences ,
In which often mysteries occurs, the facts of nature and of soul,
 Personified and dignified,
 Recorded billion yrs facts.
Treasured or untreasured,
Artefacts can never be wiped off,
 Such papyrus manuscripts were genre,
 Regarded to be trans-generational,
 Bt some aspect of it,
 Experienced effervescence like a gas,
 Because it was untreasured,.
Made manifest by man's emotion,
 Provoked to light by imagination,
Upholding a great deal of history,
Ancients wasn't left out in it.

As Zeus captured Aphrodite, Prometheus thought humans d art of making fire,
 Poseidon moved d waters,
 As Odyssey sails on it,
Medusa slaughtered by Perseus, messenger of d gods flies To warn Zeus of his actions,
 Dat was at mountain Olympus,
 The home of mythology.

Twilight Haunt

TWILIGHT HAUNT

In the outskirt of the town ,
 Beyond the dragon village,
 Seperated by the green pond,
There a castle with two towers,
Wholesome in antiquity of age ,
Beyond the rotten four wheeled carriage.

Inhabited by bats ,owls and ospreys,
 Landscaped of blooming prairies,
 Non lived there,
 Nor has been there,
 Voices from there loudly heard,
 Culinary smokes puffs overhead,
For the fear of the abstract,
 Non dared to venture,
 And courage ceased from all.

In the minds of three young men,
 Darren ,Garren and Warren,
Courage found venturing hearts not withering,
Horses saddled by Darren and Warren,
 Amulets with Garren,
 They dared to venture,
And sped towards the castle .

It was a bit night,
 In the castle,
Welcomed by onomatopoeic "tywii tywoo" of the owls and bats,
 They braced their mights,
Advancing inwards the round table hall,
Began frenetic and apocalyptic shutting of doors and windows,
 Glasses broken,metal scraps ontop another.

Came the wind like sirroco,
Thorny hands tossed them up and landed them ontop the roundntable,
Voices shattering round the table ,
 Shadow apparitions gearing forward,
Amulets thrown at the gearing crowds,
 Captured and locked inside boxes,
 The castle baricaded with amulets,
The three young men left the castle,
Never to let open the boxes..

As One

AS ONE.

Sweet things happen,
But not all of a sudden,
The banner over life,
The general language in the heart of mankind,
The same feeling witnessed by different races.

Our faces are different,
Negro and coloured not the same,
Races of human contrasting to each other,
Some are parted by waters,
Some dwell in island,
Many on mountainous plain ground,
Seeking the adventures of life.

Nature as kind as it is,
Saw the contrastion between men,
And neutralised dichotomy,
Deleting the sloppy hearts,
A poco a poco implanting altruism in minds.

Even without knowing the language,
A good music makes the heart merry,
So is the banner of life called LOVE,
With the gentleness of a dove,
The weak becomes strong where there is love,
Love is adorable.

Everlasting as it is,
Love above all is glamorous,
When it is not abused,
Love is what completes a man.

Arrows and Quivers

ARROWS AND QUIVERS
,

Arrows and quivers,
Of the common people,
Glued to his shoulders,
He walks incognito,
His paths are invisible,
Like the speed of light he runs,
On the roof tops he walks unnoticed like an ant.

Comes in the colors of shadow,
And with camouflage of a chameleon,
That perches on a tree,
The whistle of his arrow roars like lion,
Sticking to the chest of its prey.

The terror of the tyrants,
Hundreds of troops to guard,
But he breaks the flanks and strikes,
Down are the tyrants,
That terrorize the weak,
Though he strikes,
But his sword is never stained with blood.

Sober Reflection

SOBER REFLECTION

As I was considering human actions,
My mindset was geared towards repecaution,
Replacing the position of gladness with saddened motions,
I once asked father ''what was the cause of human situation''
He said '' son its because of man's imprudent reflection'',
About to ask another question,
But he said son ''consider your actions''.

At the cemetery lays both young and old,
It seems as if I was getting cold,
Without hesitation I grabbed my hood,
Still surveying the size of every cross mounted on each grave,

I imagined the emotions of the bereaved,
I sat on a stone,
Calculating unachieved goals swallowed by the grave.
Man ought to live and not to perish,
Not leaving behind the people they cherish,
To soar in anguish,
But many a thing are beyond human might,
Which are decided by nature,
Which we humans expects positivity
But sometimes it becomes negativity.

Oh! Mother nature direct human actions,
Allow not our days to be in few enumerations,
Our wills to be clothed with medals,
Guide us from the turbulent winds,
And shield us from the sea's tempest,
Let our merits stand the test of time,
Hear the entreaties of man,
Oh! Mother nature.

Fantasy World

FANTASY WORLD

Awakened by the sound of bell,
Feeling debilitated of the night's Odyssey,
My surroundings appears to be Crimson,
I looked out of the window,
And the sun adored my little chamber, .....

Walking along the hallway,
 Thinking of the day's duty,
Descending the building with my tools,
A Lad already set beside two horses,
We mounted on it and vanished swiftly,...
In the field,
After much wheat and barley packed,
I sat down to regain strength,
 The lad feeding the horses,
 The breeze doing it's work,
Till I found myself in another world,

"Morning my Lord "sounded the court chancellor,
I descended from my royal bed chamber,
And gently I was attended to,
 Clothed in royal attire,
I walked towards the dance party hall,

Other kingdoms graced the party,
 Sounds of drums,
Tunes of musical instruments filled the air,
Waists swaying to the tune of music,
A pretty princess extended her hand for a dance,
On holding her hand to the dance floor,
The Lad tapped me (time to go),
And I came back to reality,
We rode our horses back home,
And I smiled all the way home..
