Bullying

Bullying

Bullying is the work of a troubled mind
He or She friends cannot find
Many of them suffer at home from abuse
Parents are to blame telling them they are of no use.
Bullying is their way of fighting back
When others weaker than them they do attack
Never realizing the pain, they bring to bear
On others because they do not care.
Others suffer deep down inside
Many have ended their hurt committing SUICIDE
Never having had anyone to whom they could turn
Parents and teachers from this should learn.
Bullying must be stopped before its to late
Starting now we must not hesitate

Teachers and parent must the bullies educate
For the hurt to others is hard to CONTEMPLATE.

English Humor

ENGLISH HUMOR

To read This I have translated the words in brackets.!
PETROL (GAS)
I needed to buy Petrol (Gas) today
The price of it took my breath away
A holiday this year I’ll not take
Can’t afford it for goodness sake.
A pound (2 dollars) a litre today
There’s nothing we can do BUT PAY
I need to buy a whistle and toot
That in English slang means suit.
I guess now that will have to wait
As the money to spend I hesitate
It can wait till another day
I didn’t need a new whistle and toot anyway
I don’t really mean to complain
Besides if I did what would I gain
I keep telling people prices will go down
But they just look at me and frown
I had nothing to do tonight
So I thought this silly thing I’d write
After you this silly poem written by me
PLEASE don’t to harsh a CRITIC be.

Let the Child Out

LET THE CHILD OUT

My life was over before it started
I spent my childhood brokenhearted,
My parents didn’t treat me as they should,
When I was still in childhood.

I wish they could have seen my eyes,
They might have seen my fear and heard my cries,
Now I’m grown up and still feel the pain,
I keep going each day through that hell again,
Every day for me is a living hell,
And I suffer more than I can tell.

The child in me keeps asking when?
Will I feel loved and wanted again,
I want the pain and fear to go away
So that the child can come out to play.

I know in my heart it wasn’t me,
That caused this child so much misery,
But I want to help the child to fight,
And I try each day with all my might.

I want to find the love I never had,
When the child and I had a Mom and Dad,
We no longer want to feel abused,
And not feel unloved and used.

Let the child come out so we can both live,
So that both can share the love we can give,
The child and I only hope and pray
That this will all come about one day.

Golden Years

Golden Years

Golden Years who’s kidding who
It’s a farce It’s just not true
Try us old folks to deceive
More like rust I do believe.

Take ARTHRITIS when your old
OH how we suffer in rain and cold
Next is OSTEOPAROSIS settling in
Meaning your bones are getting thin.

ACHES and PAINS seem to be
The ones sent to cause us misery
Then you start taking lots of pills
To help you get through all your ills.

But there are compensations too
By all the seniors discounts for you
Places that offer savings galore
Darn it who could ask for more.

But At least we manage to survive
And think how lucky were still alive
And still with family we are able to share
All the love that’s always there.
All our friends are still there too
Supporting us the whole day through
So now we can forget the pain and all
FOR WHICH WE RUSTY GOLDENAGERS THANK YOU ALL.

Do You Remember

DO YOU REMEMBER

Do you remember the old drivein show
Where with your girfriend or boyfriend you did go
Hugging and kissing in the front seat there
What the movie was you really didn't care.

And shopping at Woolworths five and dime
A good place to just pass the time
Or off to an A&W where you drove in
Do you remember that was where you had been.

Do you remember the Vaudeville show,
When to the theatre you did go
Oh of so many places I could write about
That would bring back memories I have no doubt.

But that is all for now I'll write
So I'll wish you all good night
Another night I will write if my pen does not go dry
About other Things with memories that will make you laugh or cry.

Bigotry

BIGOTRY

The world would be a better place
If people would respect each others race
There are many people that names do call
They are nothing but racists and bigots all.

Freedom of speech and religious belief after all
Should be respected by one and all
But many people this do not see
And go on spreading bigotry.

If bigots and racists would just admit
That they are wrong that would be the end of it
Than the world for it would better be
And all could live in peace and with dignity.

“Bigotry is an illness that needs to be healed”

Old Age

Old Age
Saggy breasts or wrinkled tush,
Is old age giving you the push
Not able to do the things you could
Or not by your kids being understood
Wearing false teeth and not your own
And a hearing aid and feeling all alone
Remembering When you could jump out of bed
Now grabbing the walker sitting by your bed
Grandkids running here and there
And your thinking life's not fair
As you look back at days gone by
And asking to yourself WHY
You can't do the things you did
When you were a little kid
Like running, skipping and playing ball
All these things you do recall.

Now that your working days are past
And you have retired at last
Now is your chance to have some fun
Because your life has just begun
Enjoy the rest that you have earned
And stop being so damned concerned
Just look around and say
Now is the time to start MY day.

Brain Blight

BRAIN BLIGHT

Sometimes I search my heart
When a poem I try to start
And believe me it is a real pain
When you find yourself with acute brain drain.

The words just do not seem to want to flow
Why this happens I do not know
I seem to get a mental quirk
And that is what makes my brain refuse to work.

So please forgive this TERRIBLE write
Due to the fact that my brain is not working right
Maybe the blight will leave my brain
And I will be able to start writing again.

HAS YOUR BRAIN EVER BEEN TO POOPED TO PARTICIPATE

Why Me

WHY ME

Why me? O Lord I pray me tell
Am I forced to have this life of hell
Why me? of all the children on the earth
Am I made to feel of such little worth?

Why me? I ask each and every day
Am I made to suffer in such a way
Why me? is the answer I wish to find.

Why me? do you make suffer such abuse
And make me feel that I am of such little use
Why me? do you think should be made to cry
I pray you Lord please tell me why.

Why me? Is it because you do not care
That I live my life in such despair
Why me? That only wants to be
Free of all this agony.

Why me? Oh Lord do you forsake
And want only my childhood to take
Why me? O Lord I ask you please
Do you not now put my mind at ease.

Why me? O Lord I pray me tell
Am not delivered from this living hell
Why me? O Lord do you not give
To me the answer to why this life I live.

Why me? O Lord am I not allowed to know
Just what have I done to offend you so
Just answer tis desperate plea
WHY ME? WHY ME ? WHY ME?

A World In Shame

A world in Shame

When I was younger many places I travelled
Spain and France to name but two
And my eyes did many wonders see
And I felt the history of both
I SAW THE GALLEONS THAT SAILED THE SEAS
And the soldiers preparing for war
And I saw the blood that was on both sides spilled
Hearing the cries from them as not yet dead
While all around the guns did roar
Then on to Germany with building destroyed
From a much later war
I heard the cries of many poor souls
That died in agony that were trapped inside
Then on to Holland where the flowers bloomed
A country where the war had passed And the windmills in their glory stood
Next to England where I could hear the sirens blare
As the enemy over them did fly
Dropping bombs that suddenly silent went
Sending people into shelters cold
Waiting for those silent bombs to fall
Never knowing where they would land
All these places now restored
Replacing buildings from old to new
Now I sit at home and see the carnage
That plagues the world today
Caused by terrorists in so many ways
Leaving home to escape in fear,
Many crying and others in pain
How many must die or homeless be
Before the world kind find peace
And walk the streets and not hear the cries
Because of those of lust and greed
Without a care for human lives
The only answer lies with us
To save humanity before it is to late
The leaders of the world must join together
As one UNITED
If these atrocities are to stop.
