Old Age

Old Age Saggy breasts or wrinkled tush, Is old age giving you the push Not able to do the things you could Or not by your kids being understood Wearing false teeth and not your own And a hearing aid and feeling all alone Remembering When you could jump out of bed Now grabbing the walker sitting by your bed Grandkids running here and there And your thinking life's not fair As you look back at days gone by And asking to yourself WHY You can't do the things you did When you were a little kid Like running, skipping and playing ball All these things you do recall. Now that your working days are past And you have retired at last Now is your chance to have some fun Because your life has just begun Enjoy the rest that you have earned And stop being so damned concerned Just look around and say Now is the time to start MY day. G'day Bob … well done; the story of life. The body tires but the mind stays strong - thanks Bob - Lindsay
