A CHILD LOST FOR MONEY TO GAIN The lust for wealth can cause much pain Hurting and placing a child in pain Starved of love because of greed A child whose life is lost Cannot be recovered at any cost Turned away in her prime by a mother’s gain A mother that wanted it all Letting that child in her way, stumble and fall A child that had so much to give But denied that life to live.
