The Love Lie

My best friend Ary is in a bad situation.
It’s a guy that leaves her with curiosity and frustration.
She’s confused on what she should do.
I wanna help because I’ve been in a situation like this too.
But mine didn’t turn out good.
So I can’t give advice like I should.
She had a child that’s nothing less in her life.
Ary’s a good person who doesn’t deserve what she has.
He’s not good enough for her and he should be a part of her past.
But she’s caught in the love lie.
Which is when people think that what they have is the best they’ll ever get.
Ary needs to open her big brown eyes
Just wide enough to realize that she’ll find somebody new.
Boss isn’t the lost man alive
He won’t always be there and he won’t always care.
She can find a nice young man who can treat her like a Queen nothing less than
a wonderful human being.
He’ll have her smiling again and never will she frown again.
She has to leave the trouble alone.
And leave herself with time to grow.
Maybe she should take a break, find herself and learn how to avoid the mistakes.
Then she learn how to defend herself against the love lie.

I'M Only Seventeen

I'm only seventeen but the pains that I've had could've took fifty years to build.
I was abandoned as a child, and left all alone. Given to someone who doesn't
really care. Then at eight I had my innocience taken away. But I'm only seventeen
don't get me wrong. Then at fourteen I had my first love, but love is for suckas and
that didn't go good. I got knocked up at sixteen and lost that right away, but I'm
only seventeen don't get me wrong. Then I found a guy that I thought just might
be right, but when I saw him at the movies that night, I knew nothing would turn
out right. I'm only seventeen and I been through alot, I'm going through a court
case right now, for rape of a child, but he was only fifteen and rape is not right.
We were together and truth be told, I was told he was sixteen that night. So
i'm only seventeen and i've gone through alot, but I'm only seventeen, who am I to
say that it's alot.

It's Time For Me To Leave

There's something that I want to tell you
but I don't know where to start.
I had feelings for you along time ago
but now I feel we should part
It was fun while it lasted.
But now it's all over.
We were good in the beginning.
But now I found another
Forgive me for lying to you
and telling you nothing was wrong
wipe your tears and be strong
I left you for a while
But the girl who left did't return
but always remember that the love I had still burns

Like a Rubber Band

You know how things may pull at you and you seem to be stretched past your
limit, but you just do not seem to break? Well your like a rubber band. Forcefully
being pulled along by that individual who feels they have all the power over you.
Then they try and pull you down so they can climb over you and try and reach the
top. But little do they know that once they let you go you sling shot a level higher
than them. Your like a rubber band. They feel the only way to make themselves
better is to lower you. But once again their clueless to the fact that as long as they
feel inferior to you they are inferior to you. You will always keep the upper hand.
With a smile and a laugh you know you have made their animosity excel to levels
unbelievable. And yet your smile remains the same. Your emotions never
change and you know you still remain on top. For them the anger grows with your
happiness and their fear as well. Not physically fearing what you may do to them
but afraid of the control you have over their mind. Meanwhile their still in denial of
all the negative things that they’ve done. Trying to believe that they are just as you.
Yet you know your wrongs and your aware of your flaws. And they will never be
you. As long as they want to be, they will never be close. Your still like a rubber
band because you spring up at every chance you get. Like a rubber band; being
able to stretch and bend. Twist around every corner and still maintain your
shape. Like a rubber band. Having no feelings what so ever of the things that
surround you. Like a rubber band. ABLE TO BOUNCE RIGHT BACK.

I Can'T, I Wont, I Refuse To Give Up

I can't see the stars without you.
I wont put on a smile without you.
I refuse to be happy without you.
You don't want to be with me, you only see joy in her.
But I can't, I wont, I refuse to be without you.
I love you
Even though those three words I promised myself I wouldn't speak.
I love you
Even though my defense against that emotion is too weak.
I love you
And I can't, I wont, I refuse to give up!!

College Girl

One last look over my shoulder. As the double doors close one last goodbye to
the teachers. As I start my car and go. One last handshake to Mr. Davis. As my
name is called aloud one sweet tear down my cheek. As I make it out alive. One
fairwell to all my classmates, as I enter the real world. One goobye to my past
me. Because now I'm a college girl.

Best Friends

My best friend’s name is Ary’Ana Burns. We met freshman year and have been
bound at the hip ever since. It’s funny because we act just alike. Sometimes it’s
annoying because we might finish each other’s sentences or be thinking what
the other one is thinking. She has a baby and it’s difficult for her to be there for
me always but when she can; she has my back. I love her to death and wouldn’t
ask for another friend in her place. Without Ary I wouldn’t be the same and I’m
proud to call her my best friend.

A Love Like This

A love like this is meant to be
We shall never part, you and me
We share so much
More than what the eyes can touch
A bond that has tied us together
So tough, we can make it through whatever
A love like this is meant to be
Our eyes met and we fell in love, you and me
In your arms is where I felt safe
I could say this about no other place
Now we’re just friends, you and I
But our love is forever standing by
A love like this is meant to be
No one can take this from yo and me
Together we’re a whole, without you I’d fall apart
You mean the world to me, my everything, my heart.

Subject of Negative Thinking

I'm a continuous subject of negative thinking.
Death became my best friend and in his presence is where I longed to be.
Self mutilation became my better half.
Every night the blade to my skin as I reached satisfaction once I saw red.
The subject of negative thinking.
No type of encouragement mattered.
The negativity becoming my everything.
My fuel. Suicide being my plan B.
The subject of negativity constantly searching for positivity.

A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words

A picture's worth a thousand words
A kiss is worth a million
A love is worth a trillion words
A life is worth a billion

A death is worth heartache and sorrow
A secret should be kept not told tomorrow
A true friend will never go away
Like your first love, it will always stay

Your body is scared and sweet
Something that should be for you to keep
A love is someone that you can hold
They’ll protect you from the hold

A life will never really die
True friends never tell a lie
Feelings never escapes
And to tell them is never too late
