The Broken Heart

Sometimes I feel like I've lost a never-ending battle
the truth is too much for me to handle
In the glare in the morning sun
She said I was her only one
She was my only world
Until one day she confessed her sins
It was like an emptiness that hit my heart all over again
Whoever knew that love could hurt so bad?
She was supported to be my friend, she was the only one I had
I knew I couldn't change her ways
She said I was the one to blame :(
Like always I drank myself to sleep
Trying to destroy this heart so it wouldn't beat
I thought I found love
All I found was hurt and pain
But I couldn't cry all I did was hold it inside
So has she walked away I took her hand
And told her I'm never letting you go "I took that stand"
She told me just let me go so I can walk away
I never loved you or wanted you so why should I stay?
Those words hit me like a ton of bricks
She played me like a fool with her games and kicks
All this boy wanted was love
This girl couldn't even give him a hug
She saw him like a plague that wouldn't go away
She might as well put a curse on him and watch him decay
This boy is dying inside
Nobody can see it or feel it but him
