Beneath the ebullient waters,
magical beings slowly glide.
Mammalians of great size and pride;
hiding beneath all the yachters.
All year long you’ll find them playing;
children of old Neptune’s abyss.
Ecstatically living bliss;
breaching dolphins, whales are spraying.
Not a care in the world, have they
and they are so people friendly;
oh, even complementary.
with breach they’ll wish you a nice day!

A legend in our time,
Nessie lives in Loch Ness.
And while monster to some,
he is loved by the press.
Moonbeams gilded the waves,
like golden filagree.
And it’s beauty was such,
that he just had to see.
His head broke the surface,
leery of stray yachters.
And small ripples stirred,
in the placid waters.
Snout out of the water,
he soon started to choke.
And exhaled puffs of mist,
like he was belching smoke.
But it was well worth it,
to see the moon and stars.
And glimpse other planets,
like Jupiter and Mars.
His eyes aren’t use to light,
his world is inky black.
And after surfacing,
he now dreads going back.
