Went camping in the cane breaks.
He woke at midnight dark, to find
A raccoon feeding on his cornflakes.
Wild and wooly Wendell Worley,
At morning did awaken,
And found, to his profound chagrin,
A 'possum eating up his bacon.
Wild and wooly Wendell Worley,
Returning from a short stroll,
Was less than overjoyed to find
A large snake sleeping in his bedroll.
Wild and wooly Wendell Worley
Then made a sound decision:
Feeling poorly, Wendell Worley
Now camps before his television.
