Premium Member I wil take Bears Over Preppies

The ones who are preppy seldom seem peppy
They appear alone and aloof, if they smile it’s a goof
They dress in dull clothes, stick out their straight nose
Put on snobbish airs, I’d rather spend time with bears

Premium Member THERE WIL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU POTD

Sweet Spring begins, when you allow the fresh winds in.

Letting go of the pitter pat, of the feet of last winter’s cold,
and snowfall’s past.

Forgiving any and all, who you think did any harm to you.

Make a list of those who contributed to your life~ in the most
magnicent ways.

Weave them as bright, yellow dandelions into your sparkling,
new, bright days!

Don’t go running to strangers for a gold stamp of questionable
approval.

Too many are not as sweet as you, and need to be sent to the
a highway for removal.

Smile~ the way you create each day, does effect the entire world!

Choose truth, generosity, love and wrap them in iridescent swirls.

                               3-30-2025

                       ~Be the magic you are~

Premium Member whatever wants to grow wil grow

woodland sunflower
not my only renegade plant
baby tree grew out of middle of my fire pit
pushing her way through concrete and rock
two layers of concrete!
we do not even have black dirt here in Kansas
yet, whatever wants to grow, grows
I marvel at the marvelousness of a determined tree
pushing her way up through the clay,
showing me that she is alive and well
and now twelve feet high

Dreams and Wishes God Wil Fulfill

Dreams and Wishes God Wil Fulfill

While I was glancing through a window sill,
What I would see was  a winding wind mill;
All of my dreams and wishes God will fulfil;
A thrill seeing snow on a mountain or a hill.

A farmer's soul was in soil  that he does till;
Whatever God preforms He always can still;
Contented and happy when He paid my bill;
Not only that did help me sharpen my skill.

Wil Wheaton

If I were Sheldon Cooper
You would be my Wil Wheaton
My personal nemesis
buried on Planet Genesis
My Wrath of Khan
Put this Fish in your Ear
It is not parasitic
and in no way will control
your thought process
It's just a poem
About how I feel
lost in translation
How you treat me
the meaning all but extinct
just like your feelings
desensitized by cartoons and video games
that is why I hate you
"You task me,"
with broken promises
"You task me,"
And today I shall be set free
For none of this is real
I Wil close my eyes
And nothing Wil have changed at all.

Danger Wil Robinson

Walking down the street along that old construction site
Several children were playing slightly far off to the the right
Playing around just below that old rickety elevator car and frame
They kept running in and out while they were playing their little game

But as the winds blew and that old rusty frame began to shake
I immediately and instinctively knew that this decision I must make
So I jumped over the fence and started running towards their way
My fear becoming so immense in seeing how that shaft would sway

And just as I got near they all looked over and towards me
As for them it was not clear all those dangers they just couldn't see
And as I called out and warned them of such dangers to be
They looked backed with utter doubt so seemingly not to agree

Just as you would not walk away there nor could I walk away here
For there are many people who don't care though the message is so clear
But you wouldn't just walk away for your heart would not allow it
And so you stay, persevering, but you would never quit

And Always Wil

l

The morning lamp
Has dried the damp
Murky moon;
And day has burned
To red, and turned
Dawn to noon.

But colors shift
And fall and lift
Flags of light,
And men still creep
Like rats, and leap
Into ink night.
