Seconds hunger
days unweaned
compression fracture
broken dreams
Minutes uncounted
hours unnamed
Humptiest Dumpty
in pieces again
Yahweh once spoken
reason besieged
tokens in exile
pagans to grieve
One for the money
two when it’s shown
oracle harlot
—cursed and dethroned

On this Day
On this day,
the lonesome vine broke,
A cargo ejected at nature's will,
blood shatters from the womb
another life from Life brought forth.
On this day,
umbilical cord severed
the conception ripened
A body clothed in innocence
untainted from the womb of Nature
on this day.
The mind in obscurity wonders
The passage from unknown to the world
untutored, unlearned unweaned.
what's the mission here ?
On this day
A servant of time,
A product of Prayer
sustained through unceasing plea.
Live said He, Live,
From this day
ecstasy transforms into realities.
from the first cry,
the breath, garnished looks and smiles.
to uncensored path from dissipating paean.
And this day,
the whole earth waits for the manifestation,
Who, what, where, and when?
A fire brand Ready to burn.
Thou quickening power of the spirit of Life,
set the fire ablaze.

Avatar Queen
The mask or the screen,
What’s never to know
What’s never to see
Avatar Queen
Your name to mislead,
One more cryptic posting
That always deceives
Avatar Queen
Both petty and preened,
The bees in your bonnet
No stinger foreseen
Avatar Queen
You know what I mean,
With feelings all borrowed
And vistas unseen
Avatar Queen
The sourest cream,
No reason to wish
All hope dressed in green
Avatar Queen
Your anger unweaned,
My answer then sharp
My rapier free
Avatar Queen
Not to sleep or to dream,
Your nightmare awoken
In daylight you scream
Avatar Queen
One curse washes clean,
Your blessings defaced
—no chance to redeem

Evening, and I hurry home to wait
The coming night
The shadows dancing at the gate
The long delight
The jasmines thin white dress
The fragrant milk
The soft, rich silk
The tongue leaching the breast

The friar
Revered innocence
You’ve got to try it
put it on your lap
a smiling little thing
still sheer and brittle
if possible blind or deaf,
almost genderless.
It just sits there
an unweaned lamb.
Take the little head
gentle it downwards
to the issue of our charity
Lead it, shovel if necessary.
Don’t be scared!
Today it’s allowed
your parents too far:
the force of every belief
too big to grasp.
Sooner or later it pushes
to where we assumed
our hands were in power.
