Like the soothing roar of the ocean, I can feel it
As it skips gently over stones unturn, I yearn to be it
It tickles my nose, ruffles my clothes, and wonders where I've been
I realize in all this running around, I've forgotten my good friend
A friend who held my hand when we were little kids
As we ran and hid from all the silly things we did
Who kissed me on the forehead and dried my tears
When the deepest pain only confirmed my fears
After all these years it still brings me to my knees
That I can listen to the ocean and her breeze

Living is mocking the dead,
To dance while they rot instead,
Each breath that we take
Is a slap in the face
Cause living is mocking the dead.
Living is such a conundrum,
Every human that lives is a flawed one,
And we hardly deserve
Our time on this earth
So living is mocking the dead.
As the dead rest their bones in their caskets,
They are woken by the living’s loud racket,
And our machines scream
And we don’t stop to dream
And living is mocking the dead.
Because we live so we don’t have to die,
From cold bony fingers we pry,
Each gem and each Jewel
Bones make great fossil fuel
The living are mocking the dead.
We talk of the dead in hushed voices,
We secretly judge all their choices,
And the lessons we learn
We work hard to unturn
Living is mocking the dead.

Yeah those feelings and the emotions;
But there doesn't exist any relation
Commonly that is found,is the physical attraction;
But the rare one,is the mental connection
When the toxic embossed imprint start getting blur;
And the deep hidden reality inside the heart begin to uncurl
Sooner or later I realized however;
That the dusky dawn can't cover the twilight
To read the secret in those eyes, no stone remains unturn;
And to bring those brightness again someone is ready to burn
An old tale with a new twist,that was left unread from long;
Has enlightened again from subdued craving as a mesmerizing song.
