Once she was always here and once there was often distance.
Twice she was there and we are closely bonded in every instance.
My dear elder whose title is literal, for she is absolutely grand.
She is unconventional, unstigmatic; triumphs with my joining hand.
Our words exchanged are ours alone, intangible secrets.
I am ashamed of our scarred juvenile past, but there is no reset.
Left the past resented, and presently we are infinitely kindred companions.
I come through, she comes through; a shared value of compassion.
I seek her for knowledge, support, or just when I'm perturbed.
No other is responsible for such a bulk of my lessons learned.
