The restaurant had only steak -
Fran Lebowitz favored meat.
This was more than I could take...
I wanted something else to eat.

Right up there upon the wall -
A picture of gigantic steak.
It had legs and was immensely tall.
This was more than I could take!

The restaurant had only steak,
And twisted humor on the wall.
I now had all that I could take.
I had no appetite at all...

Gather Laughter

Willows wink cautiously, stream downtrodden steep cavern

fixed twelve ancient existence, dim lit dreamscape.

Draw scribble hitherto fortune gold melt, cent tenth.

Alas awake if could name such, surround rusts faded silence.

Quit sorrow dilemma yanked empire squander

tear victim of gravity’s twisted humor,

gather laughter…
