A Twisted Fairy Tale

Cinderella doesn't need
to be a glorified housekeeper
dealing with the summer blues
only her very own shack on the beach
selling pina coladas and margaritas

Cinderella doesn't need
a fairy godmother
only a magical starfish
to grant all of her wishes at her command

Cinderella doesn't need
to go ballroom dancing
only a one way ticket
on The Disney Magic to Castaway Cay

Cinderella doesn't need
glass slippers, a tiara
or a fancy ball gown
only a pair of flip flops
a hat made of straw and a crystal bikini

Cinderella doesn't need
to ride a pumpkin carriage
only a surf board
cruising the high seas
on the back of dolphins

Cinderella doesn't need
a prince to sweep her from off her feet
only a charming sea captain
serenading the romantic songs of the Caribbean
to win over her tender little heart forever
