Hold my hand and I'll walk you through the blooms
Smiling and carpetting your brick walkway
Their charisma will blow away your glooms
Tiger lilies from hills open their plumes
I'll bouquet a few along the pathway
Hold my hand and I'll walk you through the blooms
The crossandra is one of my heirlooms
Dad's gifts can crackle into life all day
Their charisma will blow away your glooms
How about the sprayed dendodrium blooms?
Green houses cool orchids in hottest may
Hold my hand and I'll walk you through the blooms
Grassy ferns and tuberoses' perfumes
Will add lushness and fragrance rightaway
Their charisma will blow away your glooms
I'll bow them in silver to flaunt your rooms
Have a great day! And if you come this way
Hold my hand and I'll walk you through the blooms
Their charisma will blow away your glooms

Tumultuous evening' sky gradually turns into intense, vague shadows;
tuneless mockingbirds, waigtails and thrushes lament their lost view,
tuberoses quickly dispersed by the frequent gusts, head South,
turning towards the eye of the storm, not taking the path they once knew.
How frightening and fierce is such a steady, gushy rain...although it is quite warm!
How helpless I am, whirling in the currents of the furious wind!
Hummingbirds fly away from the bending and crackling trees;
huddled under the wide branches of a tall pine tree, I wait for the storm to end.
