Etceteras!
By Dane Smith-Johnsen
Hey, she's alive!
Yeah! She survived!
All day learning,
CD burning.
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Images fill
80 GIG drive:
Art. Trees. Sun. Mills.
But NO bee hives.
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Written words pack
The other one.
Creation facts
Poetic Fun.
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Her patience won!
Today, she'll strive.
Poem updates.
Triplicates thrive.
New backups wait!
Etcetera!
Etcetera!
Etcetera!

Technology Complaints
By Dane Smith-Johnsen
Loosing word files really rattles my brain.
Sometimes I feel like I'm going insane.
I try and I try to put things in place.
Still, somehow, they get lost in cyberspace.
Computer crashes bring on mental pain.
It seems like progress will not be obtained.
As I find, sort, and copy transferred files.
My gray matter is soon stretched out for miles.
Floppies, CD s, re-write-able, or not
Duplicates, triplicates backups and LOST!
Pop-up warnings, my cork is getting hot.
Steam from my ears might escape, angers cost.
Drats, drats, and double drats! I've flipped my lid!
Did you hear the loud POP? No, it's not wine.
In the middle of the night, fingers skid.
Up and down the keyboard, whine, whine, and whine!
