Saturdays in October

I do not believe there is anything prettier than Saturdays in October. I absolutely love them. I love the temperature and the guessing game you have to play to decide if you want to take a jacket or not. I love the foliage of the leaves; the in-between stage where they’re not green but not purely yellow or orange or red. I love going pumpkin picking. Between the smell of cider lingering in the air and the commotion of which pumpkin would fit the best on our front steps, it could be one of my favorite days of the year. We as a society can’t agree on much; however, I’ve seen the entirety of the tri-state area at pumpkin patches since I was born. Young, old, men, women, parents, grandparents, teens, infants, everyone enjoys it. I guess we all agree that Saturdays in October were designed for a fun fall plan with friends and family. I believe there is something heartening about the whole experience.

Mtv's Jersey Shore

"Jersey Shore," just like "The Real World," is the best reality show all TV viewers have
ever seen. The show takes place in a New Jersey town called Seashore Heights. When
watching "Jersey Shore" on MTV, it's like traveling around the Tri-State area. It''s
amazing that the people of the East Coast are as awesome as the ones from the West Coast.
The females of "Jersey Shore" are very attractive and beautiful, especially the ones of
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Angelina Pivarnick, and Jenni "J-Woww" Farley. But what I don't
like about that show is when one of the cast members gets fired from a T-shirt shop for
breakingthe rules set by their boss, being evicted from the house by the ocean, or one
person's arrogance. Its theme song for "Jersey Shore" is "Get Crazy" by LMFAO. If "Jersey
Shore" were to stay on the MTV network for 10 more seasons, that would be great.

Good News

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program with this important update
This just in
Random acts of kindness have been occurring wildly in the tri-state area
A local man, not having two quarters to his name was handed a winning lottery ticket
A woman, who thought her purse was stolen with her rent check inside, had it returned to her
A local boy had gone door to door asking his elderly neighbors if they needed assistance

What if the news were to tell us this
That the world was changing for the good
I would love to hear news like this on TV
Because to act like this, we should
Come on now people, it’s not very hard
To extend a hand, a smile, a buck
Think, what if it were you today on the street
The one who was down on his luck
