Little tree don't weep today,
your limbs so tiny, and frail,
but stronger, and stronger,
with each passing snow,
as nature watches you grow.
You're just a treeling,
in the forest of life,
waiting for another season.
One day you'll be the one,
a family calls their own,
decorated in lights of color,
adding beauty to that home.
Dry your little branches little one,
and drink from the nourishing soil,
time will get you ready,
for that special girl or boy.
