There is a famous story that I could relate,
About a lady picking fruit that changed all human fate.
This was the first lady that our dear Lord did create.
She succumbed to temptation and involved her mate.
The Lord had told them kindly not to pick forbidden fruit,
From the one tree in the orchard , but that didn’t suit.
Eve was her name and while the Bible doesn’t say.
It is presumed it was an apple, that she picked that day.
Not only was she tempted, she convinced Adam too, to eat.
Did they find the fruit better than other apples? more sweet?
Temptation in this case was the devil himself that temped Eve.
In the form of a serpent he came and continued to deceive.
God was not pleased that His command, they did not obey.
He sent them from paradise, they were not allowed to stay.
Man goes on being led into temptation this we surely know.
We like to put the blame on Eve from all those years ago.
The apples that we pick against God’s Holy word today.
Are not at all pleasant as the devil still leads us astray.
We bare false witness, kill and steal, lust and cheat.
So as you see that first apple ever picked was not so sweet.

Dragons Dance
Come on kids and step inside
Let's see the dragon through sober eyes
That one little bump and your body sinks
My claws are now in you more than you think.
Deeper and deeper the webs I spin
The endless black hole your sucked right in.
Scraping your veins I've taken over your mind. Now every thing you do its me you try to find.
Shaking, sweating ,trembling with fear.I've clouded your mind so you can't think clear.
Nauseous and angry mostly un self-aware, punching the walls and pulling out your own hair.
I've created an itch that is deep inside
Very few people have come out alive
The ones that have I stalk every day
Trying to temped them back into my haze
Never dance with me or let me inside
It's like Russian roulette
chances are you'll die

i was dining with the river that took my life then gave it back
it called me to its mistaken gentle waves. Never did i know a river could be wise so that
it could spot me a thief without eyes. Wether it was the too good to be true grin the
missing teeth or the torn ratty clothes the river temped me with a golden watch lying in
the river bed. LIke a cat catching a mouse i pounced and the river pounced back. With the
might of a god its full force came crash and thrashing at me. I was a match for stealing
golden trinkets and strange diamonds but no match for a rivers might. It was feeding off
my oxygen and i knew only in death then would it go away and before i did leave the river
said silly boy to think you were the biggest thieve. Then there was nothing i was gone. At
least it felt that way like i was passing away. There was nothing. Or was there was that a
bird i heard. Dirt i felt under my skin. fresh air. Oh how beautiful fresh air was.
Everything was as it should be. And me later i would dine with the river that took my life
and gave it back a changed boy forever

Her hair.....So blonde
The scent of it....I love it...it trapped me.
Her full breasts temped me
To do bad things...together
We danced....
At night and again in the morning...
Amsterdam....Christmas...
And New Years....just a soldier
We did things...together....
She was from Los Angeles...
My home town...
I knew her name
But a plane she took....
In the morning..
As she kissed me good bye...
This was our moment
She said to me.....
My one week....
Before I die.
Years later I read her daughters poetry
About a man her mother once knew....
He was a gentle man
He made me laugh as I
Never knew I could.....
He was a soldier....
A man....
Who simply loved me
For the woman
He saw.....

Beyond the clouds, soft and bright,
beyond temped sky it lies
out where light is purely white
and prism shattered without dyes.
Heaven hides, pasture wide.
Where the book of life is read.
Angels perch and sing their fill.
Where sacrificed Lambs or bled
their blood poured over rightful heads,
decidedness of good and ill.
Ones that enter are all who will
and leave behind their earthly cares.
With their faith, claiming their thrill
with His love being fulfilled.
Heavenly pleasures to His heirs.
Earthward opens Heaven's portal,
having the Master's word read out
giving hope to all who's mortal.
Heaven hides from eyes both weak and stout
just beyond the shadow of a doubt.
