His Whispers in Silence

verses dipped in gray ink
his blue sky failed to turn pink
color changed faster than light
love in gray his soul screams
moon obscured by the fog
he dreamed of anastolic dreams

tattoos are hard to get off
his mind made him a slave
refused to burn in that fire
he decided to stay at same place
wishing on that wishful star
he burned his pride and let his tears rain

picked like a flower in the storm
by tyrant monsters like it's a fun game
hurt his pride, and took his crown
his days never saw daylight
in that dark haze brought by the storm
search for a beacon came to an end

live as an alien in his own town
in void of someone, he couldn't lift up his quill
blood moon and screams in his head
pain and bruises stuck under his skin
parted ways when times were rough
his quietude and joy's eclipse

Castles and Djinns

Find a way to go, know that you'll be fine with it
If you choose a road, and you know that you're not fine with it
There's a better way, you'll see better days
Life will be great when you're in your castle

I gotta roam alone but I know you'll find your way
If you're feeling low, know you're still glowing to me
There's a better way, you'll see better days
Life will be great when you're in your castle now

Lesbian in the locker room

I'm willing to worship
Any girl that calls me a name other than disgusting
The world is progressive
But it has not moved forward
I turn to face the linoleum, saying,
"Oh the ceiling is looking mighty fine today"
And then they squeal
                                          "Ew, she's looking at me!"
Report me to the principal if you dare
I dare you to be outed
And still have to show up to class every day

I leave the locker room
Gym shorts and ugly gray t-shirt
Covering up the undeserved shame I feel
I'm just focused on trying to make the volleyball team
I'm not worried about how high you're hiking up your shorts
It doesn't make you look cool
Oh, and Josh, I talked to him
He doesn't like you

I hope your Christian parents
Can see how you dress when they aren't there to check in the morning
Putting on mascara that's full of vulgarity
And misleading phrases
Your pretty polished faces made middle school living torture
I should have stayed in the closet
Instead of coming out for you

Ok, so you're cooler
than me - logically, then...
I'm hotter than you.

Broken

Broken,
Pieces scattered on the ground
Shattered little fragments,
Crushed without a sound
People walk all over them,
Grind them into dust
Blow around, forgotten,
Swept away in a gust

Friends

They come and go like autumn leaves,
Changing colour, falling to the ground,
But whilst they're there you trust their word,
And want to please the big head nerd.

The nerd, she likes to prove herself,
Despite her act as a muddled elf,
Though truth be told, she's insecure,
But her behaviour, I must endure.

I know these people come and go,
But sometimes I just want to know,
Who's there for me at a difficult time,
And who will leave me at the chime.

Invisible Darts

Sticks and stones
Break my bones
But words could never hurt me
I repeated the rhyme again and again
Aghast to no end
You broke me again
The pain is real
The words cut deep
The tears stained my cheek
Teachers try but you're that pesky fly
That never gets spotted
You know my pain
You find your gain
Take it away
I say
You just begin again
To shoot me with invisible darts
no more I say you just killed my heart

You Hide In Front of a Computer

You are a bully that hides in front of a computer sending out messages of lies, disrespect,
and hate.

If you have to hide in front of a computer to bully me, you're not very brave at all. In
fact, you are a phony and a fake.

I actually feel sorry for you as you hopelessly linger in your pathetic state.

The truth about me or any kid you're bullying will eventually come out. Truth is frightening
for you, isn't it? Because you know the truth will seal your fate.

You hide in front of a computer for hours at a time.

Your time would be better spent if you somehow discovered how, with other kids, you could
become nice and kind.

You hide in front of a computer to go about your daily routine of bullying other kids.

One day your computer will crash and along with it, your despicable bullying empire, too.
Just maybe then, you'll feel somewhat sorry for all the unnecessary bullying you did.

I'M Bouncing Back

Yes, I'm bouncing back from a state of sadness and gloom.

I can't allow this sad state of mind to linger and loom.

No one, especially a kid like me, should be made to feel this way.

I'm very unhappy because I am bullied almost every day.

I've decided I'm bouncing back to the good old days when my life was full of nothing
but lots of fun.

So, those of you who've been bullying me on line and at school, got a news flash for you,
I'm bouncing back! The days of you bullying me are over and done.

Better yet, though it may not be easy at first, you might try real hard ending you bullying
ways. Why not switch to a more harmonious track.

Because lots of kids I know who have been bullied, just like me, are real quickly going to
start bouncing back!

You'D Never Heal

All you took went in your bottle
The energy is full throttle
All those feelings mixed together
Will explode on the road of the nether

Never thought you’d let them leave
It’s happened but you can’t believe
That the damage has all been done
And the pain is yet to stain the sun

Now you see why you must vent
Half of what’s said is ever meant
The other half reflects your age
Embrace what can misplace rage

Release all that encumbers
In the greatest of numbers
And tell the trusted what’s wrong
Because life is brief, but grief is long

So don’t conceal
How you feel
Or you will peel

Your emotions
Mixed with potions
Cause erosions

You’d never heal
