Theft In the Name of Good
The rise in popularity of socialism
Especially amongst the religious
And not just the usual godless Left
Shows that theft has become a moral good
When used to fund one’s own pet projects.
Want to house the homeless? Tax the homed.
Want to educate the young? Tax the elderly.
Want to feed the poor? Tax the middle class.
Want to expand healthcare? Tax the rich.
Want to destabilize society? Tax everyone.
The bottom line is taxation is theft,
The taking from another involuntarily by force,
And we accept it as a necessary evil
Until it crosses the line into things we don’t support
Like the killing of babies, bombing of villagers,
Lining the pockets of corrupt officials and contractors,
Locking up the righteous while freeing the insane.
The bottom line is taxation is theft, and
Anyone who tells you otherwise and supports it
Is just another thief.

future. that’s what I put in notes
to remind myself how often
I’ll be able to see her and pretend
I’m easy to find, same
as when we were kids trading rooms
on a regular basis,
once fear’s been eclipsed by new
and parallel taxation habits,
once we’ve forgotten how it wasn’t
as easy as writing a poem.

We move accordingly using
less air to breathe wandering
about the crued oils of dirt
grime corruption coated
with uncommon valor seen
by millions witnessed by
none we move in separate
lives coasting throughout
mental health relief desperate
an yet clothed with the
blood of everyone totally
exempt from taxation
missing broken overlooking
the rise of Jerusalem

Taxation is Theft
The world today’s divided
‘Tween those who give and take
One side doing all it can
To steal what others make.
It is a world of conflict
Along lines of hope and fear
Where each project what they reject
But cannot see what’s near.
We call it being civil
But that's not what we've shown
As brothers fight with brothers
And mothers eat their own.
We think we’re somehow different
Than all that’s come before
But birth and death continues
For us there’s nothing more.
Some want the world to be free
While others know the cost
The question is who will pay
When freedom has been lost.

Lady Godiva wasn't trying to be cute
When she went for that ride in her birthday suit.
It was her husband's taxes she protested,
All butt naked and bare-breasted,
She only did as he'd suggested, so any argument was moot.
The townsfolk of Coventry were warned not to peek,
And no lecherous looks at the lady to seek.
But one sneak did succumb,
Later called "Peeping Tom",
And was struck blind and dumb 'cause his morals were weak.
When Lady G. returned home, she re-braided her tresses,
Re-robed and prepared for her hubby's redresses.
But he didn't rebuke her for going out starkers
Or for publicly displaying bush, bum, and knockers,
And, though truly chagrined, he rescinded his taxation excesses.

Politicians ready to bet
Will play with the national debt
They think they control
How the dice will roll
But may cause a gambler’s regret
Authors note: Last time this happened, the Federal Government shut down and stopped making payments to its employees. The air traffic controllers who were working without pay started a slow down and President Trump decided to give in rather than face a catastrophe.
This time, it looks more serious as some in Congress feel they can use the debt limit to force concessions. This could get very ugly in June. Imagine if social security payments stop. Until then, the government will use accounting tricks to pay our obligations. Of course, we should reduce spending and adjust taxation for fairness and to promote the health of our planet, but we need a long-term sensible negotiated bipartisan plan for that.

Ours is a world of meanness, fear, and dissension
Filled with uncertainty, strife, and apprehension
A world fueled by selfish greed and profiteering
And false promises of those electioneering
A world filled with confusion, leaving us displaced
We try to understand, but still we are unbraced
The gains of labor are cancelled by inflation
Depleted further by burden of taxation
Driven by selfishness, people are afflicted
Wounded, broken, abused, hurt, sick, and addicted
Dreams are forgotten, lost on the slippery slope
Discouraged, depressed, hopeless, unable to cope
Two centuries ago, earth was a similar place
Angry, dark, mean, abusive, and in need of grace
People were in a hurry, seeking their own fame
Trying to get ahead, willing to shift the blame
Into this kind of world, the Lord Jesus was born
To deliver grace and peace to people forlorn
On mission to our planet that had blown a fuse
He came from heaven to deliver good news
Born of a virgin, as the prophets had foretold
Cradled in a manger, for the world to behold
A little baby boy, crying, making a fuss
They called him Immanuel, which means “God with us”.

This is not just talk
This is not just thought
I really mean it
I really Am It
Kenyan
You may not understand how Kenyan
Mimi mgenge mimi ni genge
Kenya is my religion
The altar to my being
The mother to my generations
All father when I am in need
But this does not mean
That I am blind I do not see
The doings without humanity
Even when done in the name of my country
When freedom carries no responsibility
And the criminal becomes justice
When corruption is taxation
And the Preachers are just hungry
When serve and protect
Becomes server and threaten
When power is from the people
But power is not for the people
When all the love is lost
When it is only done for survival
When all humanity is gone
When all kindness is Bought
But as much I see
I dare not speak
And you dare not listen
I can't speak because I fear the people
I will speak only when I become a person
You will only listen when I become a person
But still, Kenya is my Religion
And You still may not understand how Kenyan
Kenyan I really am
I really mean it
This is not just thought
This is not just talk.

Go Man, Go with Liz.
That girl's got so much whizz.
Say goodbye to sorrows
as she, borrows, borrows, borrows.
Our nation's fortune waxes
the more she cuts those taxes.
She relishes a fight,
not she some 'Maggie Lite'.
Macron and Putin shake and shudder
Now 'tis Liz who holds the rudder.

Imagine no more actors
It’s easy to do
Just shut off your TV
And skip the movies too.
Imagine that the actors
All just went away Aha-ah...
Imagine politicians
Who really work for us
Wired with electrodes
That would be a plus
Imagine all the charges
That would just get dropped... Woohoo…
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I was born right here
Like my parents before me
See, my paperwork is clear
Imagine low taxation
And paying as you go
No raging inflation
Prices at the pump real low
Imagine conceal carry
Without registry... Woohoo
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I was born right here
Like my parents before me
See, my paperwork is clear

Facebook meme reporting the war in Ukraine could be ended in short order if we could just get more movie stars to film themselves singing 'Imagine' from their hollywood mansions, lol.

When wisdom not often the same thing,
the first letter may not be capitalized.
Endless *****homini lupus,
more than human and dragon clash.
Smelling overlord blood feud,
taxation penalty redeployed.
Create more misery,
giant trading subjugating.
Free market eliminated,
minimal state dead.

The failed Revolution
In my childhood´s town, there was a blue neon sign
On top of a five-level building, “Jesus Saves”.
I asked my mother what “saves mean.
Souls, she said without looking up as she was reading
the communist manifesto dreamed of the day when workers would take over the factories
and throw the obese capitalists into prison.
She tried to emigrate to the Soviet Union. but she was turned down
she had no skills other than putting sardines into tins.
Mother made gruel that day, and I was allowed to scrape the brown sticky residue in the pot.
A famous over-rich capitalist sits in jail in Siberia
He has the internet and can talk to his friends. I wonder what
my mother would have thought of this.
He had been found guilty of stealing his oil
to avoid taxation.
No, not, the revolution mother was dreaming of.

Take a sip of the brew
Top it off with lemon
Taste flavors mint or green
Try other flavors too
Tea party in Boston
Threw tons of tea away
To protest taxation

Denver wheeling
Spinning,
Thinning
Itching,
Scratching
Black box shouting,
Pause recording
Stop stalling
Part 2
I want Air Force 1,
Fuelled and ready to go
At my command
Draped in invisible camouflaged
blue shadowed by red arrows
Part 3
I wish to see the falling angel
for myself
Viewed from 1st class champagne
in hand washing caviar and truffles
down
In questionable company
Part 4
Knock , Knock
What's the dark secret you
are keeping well hid behind
Black door with golden number 4
Part 5
Or more to the point
What's the actual cost
Per say in human lives
Or bribes to the contrary
Part 6-6-6
Taxation donated sponsored
Death becomes
charity / clarity
The devil's in the detail
Part 7
Why there is no,
Part 7
Can't you see
As at the stroke of 8 the white flag
was clearly raised and so to
with it the towel thrown in
It's all over bar the shouting
Extra , extra nothing left to do but
read and write and crow all about it
Service an agenda and ramp up
the recriminations
Renegade master,
Power to the people
