Great Southern,
land, down under, wintry,
Spring rain, precipitation, gloom....
Drear our days,
Until sunshine appears!
Joyous, seeking shorts, swimmer liles,
Down the beach,
Aquatic centers thrive,
Pallid limbs suntanning, right now!
Long Days Done

Another season now done,
The warm recedes from the sun.
I’ll miss my beach time fun,
Suntanning and going for a run.
A shortening of days has begun,
And we turn our clocks back at One.
That first dark cool morning can stun,
It’s a blessing of good things to come.
Birds n bees buzz to a different drum,
Looking to find their own special one.
Finding true love feels like Lotto won,
I won and my beauty does it with aplomb.
Lying in soft green grass
Watching shooting stars
Sitting by the fire
Eating smores, listening to guitars
Singing songs happily
Dancing in the rain
Holding hands with a cute guy
Being with friends acting totally insane
Taking life slowly
Climbing mountains when they come
Slowing down the music
Seeing what the dance will become
Floating over ocean waves
Swimming down rivers
Suntanning in the sand
Waiting to see what the pizza man delivers
Staying up late
Waiting for him to call
Walking down stairs
Friends there incase you fall
Taking life slowly
Climbing mountains when they come
Slowing down the music
Seeing what the dance will become
Crawling up mountains
But then enjoying the view
Continue to dance slowly
