a spider intrudes
we swat it
our behaviour
feral, territorial
far from mindful

he rode a horse
mindful of its free spirit
entwining bodies and souls
to ride within fierce winds
in carefree abandon

with each enablement bestowed
ego urges need to be stowed
for which we need to be watchful
as a debt to God by us owed

Premium Member Zen mode

we notice ego discontent
with the way things are
it has nothing to do with us of course
Self shines like a bright star

the flow of time impacts us not
in as that we pursue no goal
we continue at a slow trot
allowing God to guide our role

prayer reaches God in the void
enlivened by caress of love
we are a mist that has no name
invoking His grace from above

Premium Member Zen mode

we fade away at eventide
and in that in between zone
deep inside we wingless glide
our finer sensibilities gently hone

no one comes and no one goes
life as impulsed gently flows
soul exits ego’s thought quiz

Was It

Was it always black and white?
Don't blame the past, all right!
Focus on our inner zen,
Positive vibes for us to yen....

Mindfully subtle body comb
Invoking thus bliss magnetism
Giving rise to the mantra Om

ego is awestruck and amazed
from the vibrant void we peep in

head having melded with heart
ego identity vaporised
all souls one, none from us apart
light of our true Self is realised

tranquil vibrance seeks no target
and is as such agendaless
yet each pulse is animated
by rapturous bliss mists that bless

the play of divine light and sound
holds for us no attraction
save seeing God face to face
no epiphany offers satisfaction

separation and then union
giving rise to bliss ignition
exhumes ego spawned delusion
light of Self seen seems like fiction

compelling us to act and engage

from the universe

when bliss beats within pulsate
in stillness we are self-taught
teleported to heaven’s gate
