Yes
YES

Yesterdays remembered
You know the feeling well
Yanking on the bell rope
Youth giving way to age
Yoked to the passing years
Yearning for how it was
Yet now, maturity...

River Line
Splashing in invigorating beads of perspiration
Blasphemous pouting over grievances, neigh retirement
Itchy foaming kiss, yoked in tumult, dispersed in action
Catapulting inertia when ravishing tarry
While drenched, unquenched thirst raves belly of aqua's mine...

Choices In Life Miracle Man 2/18/2024 Either from some physical action or by our voice, It matters not that underlying intent was staid. Almost all things that happen are result from some choice, and we’ll forever be yoked to the choice we once made.

Witchy
Stinking, gassy
Lady of the night
Flinging your hate
Sharing your plight

Succubus of want
Soft and perfumed
Angel from the depths
How close you have loomed

Syrupy kiss
Dripping with pleasure
A pleasant subpoena
To a fertile treasure

Black double helix
Dressed for the ball
Come on, Witchy!
Give me a call!

Yoked and complete
Drowning in my shame
Dark and lonely son
He knows who to blame...

It comes from time to time upon a wind that wafts aromas fragrant to a mind now wakened from long sleep. And yet, perplexed, he is resigned to yet again concede his own defeat, a yoked, unequal partner, when they meet as man and muse combined. Then unannounced, it parts and leaves him much chagrined.

For Whom Do You Mourn
FOR WHOM DO YOU MOURN
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

Before you mourn me on that eventual day
There are answers you need to face now, today
Did I make you happy did you feel secure
Or was it distasteful, a trial you had to endure
Did you make it easy, pleasurable for me to try
Or was it a ruse, being yoked to an everyday lie
Survey your responses are any a plus
If no, start this day to mourn both of us...

Loved It When You Smiled
love it when you smile
though it has been quite a while
 why
when the weight of the world
found it's place on your back
 burdened
to be free in a pasture of laughing and loving
 careless
stuck in the field yoked to the plow of deliverance
 want
seemed like the right thing to do
with who every came your way
 hopeless
all you have to do is stop and breath
 cast your cares on him
 believe...

Wrong Turn
I’ve dwelled within this weathered shell
For all of time, as I can tell
I’ve often felt, I don’t belong
Unequally yoked, wired wrong

Somewhere along this path of mine
Of many turns, I missed a sign
I took a detour, by mistake
I passed the exit, to be great

My destination has not been reached
Though my route was clearly breached
My wheels still spin and motor purrs
The day it ends, I’m left, unsure...

For Nigerian Youths - Endsars
We were; yes we were!
Brewed for this day.
Innured a yoked thicket.
Offing but at the nose tip
Till we had a stomach full

Receiving more, yet, we keep.
The bitter-tasting dark fluid.
Which settles in our veins.
Blurring our sight
And quaking our feet.

Our feet? Thorned for irrigation
Of blood and sweat.
The flower rejoiced; we winced.
Perseverance replaced our view
As Eldorado floods our sight....

"I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."Acts 20:35 of the King James Bible

Yes, I desire to help Yielded as care giver Yon meaningfulness of Youthful achievements midst Yawns in struggling to stay Yoked for reaching-out with Yahweh’s strength through the years.

i printed off
all of my poems

i distributed them
at the traffic lights

no one opened their car windows
except one poem i stuffed in a dog's face

a child laughed at me from his back seat
i laughed back

i stuffed the poems in drains
in supermarket trollies

i donated them at the
charity shop

i hammered this poem
into a lamppost

it blew away into the ether
i went home to pass a kidney stone

all the eggs in this box are double yoked
signifying nothing

Premium Member Orange- -
I looked all over town
And all I could find
Was yellow and brown
The mixture of brown and yellow
Eversole was mellow
Must have been a misdemeanor
For together they were Mindbender
It is I kept on pretending
Earth shattering rendering
The Browns and the yellows combusted
Equally yoked but yet further disgusted
Such a trifling mix
Making each of us sick
What gets, mixed.

Brown and yellow
Wha wha what's
