In jungles, Savannah’s, nowhere mediocre
Lazy they are not, for sure
Dragons of their own right
Cats crave the WildThing fight
At night these angels hardly sleep
Tread during day, the feline will creep

Too many people look past my beauty,
Look too intently at my ivory.
The huntsmen I fear,
Of wildcats I steer clear.
They all want what I am made of,
Not what I am - not my wisdom, my peaceful demeanor.
I stand tall, I stand proud
I am closer to the stars, I admire each passing cloud.
My young I shall teach to be strong,
Though many look at us all wrong.
I am tall, I am proud,
I will not tilt my head, you will not see me bowed.

Wildcats need to roam and will not reform
adding their potency to disasters;
Crazy to caress a wild tornado
try to level it to fall and lay flat;
As lethal as a swinging baseball bat
running through the streets a desperado;
Nothing felt better than a combined purr,
cluster bombs exploding with a climax;
Pranksters prowl along undiscovered tracks,
and the madness came tumbling after.
