Paving Paradise

Big yellow taxi
They paved paradise to put up a parking lot
And all I got
Was this tie died t.shirt
My washing machine cleansed
And a 2nd hand scratched record
On which a needle jumps
To the beat of a Trump oval office
West Wing
Whitehouse
Partitioned
Behind a Wall

Republicans are performing a 'political stunt.'*
Well, they say, turnabout IS fair play!

Meanwhile Mount Merapi** erupts
Because it just doesn't care!

Insanity, its not as crazy as you may think!

Insanity, its a lot more fun than you may think!

Insanity, where crazy is the new normal!

Insanity, join now and get a free white jacket!!

Insanity, a great way to get away with murder!

Insanity, a pathway to the Whitehouse!

Insanity, although some may call it marriage!

I'm hearing considerable chatter about patriarchal narcissism,
which is, indeed, absorbing and darkly fascinating;

But, I do wish we could invest at least twice as much energy
on analyzing therapeutic potential
of ecofeminist compassion,
re-synchronizing Time's sacred-secular co-investments
re-combining healthy bicameral minds
re-linking wealthy co-passionate bodies,
domestic
and external.

Community organizers
and multiculturing regenerators
and organic whole food farmers
all agree
we tend to end up
back to where historically empowered nutritional voices
start.

Look at all these old white men
in their predominantly red meat patriarchal ties.

Is this a cabinet
made of polyculturing organic containers
for regenerate multicultural growth?

Or a funeral
for the not too soon departing
all WhiteHouse?

(but I have too much to declare)
