Deep Sleep

She loved him deeply,
but her heart has been weepy.
She doesn't want to hurt anymore.
She feels like her heart is tore.
Now she feels sleepy.

This Sound You Are Making

This sound you are making
A fiddler plays.
A screechy joy. If one
That's highly strung!
Did you know that? Know this.
Boy, when a man
Chopin's weepy keyboard
A heart will hoard.

Weepy Day

Dark clouds conceal sun
Hiding shine that sparks the light
To a weepy face

I Share This Loneness

I share this loneness
Of losing myself
Head and foot, and all betwixt
To this void of night
With whom, from afar
Musing on what's missed
Ghostily, too, weepy roves
If as a dream sprite.

Apart

throbbing head
raw heart
how it feels
when we're apart.

held back tears
drier eyes
lost remarks
deep inside

sick and weepy
no remark
I can't go back
I can't even start

how it feels
when we're apart.

Embrace of the Dark

As
The
Night falls
An eerie
Shadow lurks behind
The weepy lady that wanders
With a blank stare in the solitary corridor
Covering with a tenebrous mist the surroundings until the light dissipes darkness

Crying Caffeinated Tears

CRYING CAFFEINATED TEARS

Dee felt dreadfully tired, deep down sleepy.
Drowning her dreams with coffee was creepy.
          She would drink and pour.
          Drink a couple more.
Dee felt dreadfully awake and weepy.

Final Dip

“This anguish in my brain
Caused me much pain
My extreme thoughts
Marked me as insane”

“With weepy eyes
I soar up high
Over the Santee Bridge
Off ninety-five”

“Into the comely waters
A final dip
My head lie on a stone
Asleep on the other side”

Weepy Willows

Weepy. Weepy. Willows..
Please don't cry for me..
A chorus of mourners in a row.
Wind blowing your branches..
As you express your sorrow.

Lift up your droopy branches.
Weepy. Weepy. Willows..
With a parade of celebration.
Wind blows your strong branches
Lead the joyous praise.

Valentine Memory

From a hospice bed
To a special dinner date
And a wet Red Rose

I hold in my heart
The memory of that night
My Rose bush still blooms

In my night garden
My Rose bush exudes that night
My heart is embraced

A gentle rain falls
Creating weepy puddles
Reflective mirrors

Alas, If I Could Pen

Alas~ If I Could Pen

             Oh, my muse please do!
             Send romance this very day.
             Fill my droll quill do!

             Lest I fall away,
             In intellectual smog.
             Crass,weepy dismay!

Today

I'm feeling fragile today
when asked why
I don't know what to say
I just feel off
and a bit weepy
and down in the dumps
and everything seems creepy
friends are being akward
because they don't understand
I just want to jump into bed
not caring how I land
and stay there until
this feeling goes away
or I get my fill
of hiding from today

Political Rhetoric

Words can have so many meanings It pays to carefully choose what you say, Lack of phrasing can reveal your leanings Ill-chosen words will often make you pay. Politicians quickly learn how to double-talk Meaning exactly what they did not say, Like a sidewalk drawing with colored chalk Knowing a weepy denial will wash it away.

Happy Birthday Rachael

Through the wee hours of the dawn
On a cold autumn night of
February. The harmattan harsh
And dry breeze blowing

I overhear the leaves weepy-scratchy
Noise. Still but almost conscious,
Generously, her angelic face
Came, flashing, over my memory

And those valentine that passed,
One whom cannot be forgotten.
Smiles as tender, Rachael,
Emenaha says "all the best".

Scripts Of The Macabre

Creepy crawlies and heebie-jeebies
raw ripples on your skin kafkaesque;
You peek at that dark monstrosity,
cannot tell if it’s a trick or treat;
Nerves taunt with chimerical spectres;

Weepy eyes are stung by angry bees,
‘Pshaw!’ escapes a story so grotesque;
Flew through your mouth unable to flee,
caught swelled saliva starts to secrete;
Serves well scripts of macabre directors.

A Hundred Poems - Xxxi

There within that meadow
beneath that weeping willow
came to me, my love --
upon golden wings
and gossamer hair

what separation held
dissolved unto bliss
my heart gently held
within angelic mist

there within that meadow
beneath that weepy willow
saw a rebirth of soul
and fear fled, sorrow too
and the willow cried
  "what soul once chained
-- NOW FREE!"

Time

Time

22/03/2018

The tide of time is near,
A silent whisper in my ear,
Gently tugging at my sleeve,
Closer now my hour to leave.

Be sure your life won’t pass you bye,
A twinkle in your weepy eye,
Do not look past your shoulder,
Before you know it you’ll be over.

The horizon is your clear vision,
Make today your only mission.
For Tomorrow never will become,
It’s now that counts that’s the end sum
