Love is a many-splintered thing
       It warps; it chips
            It burns ~
         It takes turns...

Premium Member Night Owl
grabs a hat from the hatstand
fraught, he warps the midday sun
no apricating mellow touch
in haste, too early a venture
while camouflaged conspirators
beckon to no end, lest he dawdles
through waxing moonlit gossamer
and warms the trees of dusk

Beautiful End
she is not real
she warps to my thrills
body soft but hard to touch
I breathe her breath
we hold chest to chest
the world could be gone
I am nothing
if not wrong
to lay her down
when we'ere done
only moon no more sun
morning wont come
for our song is sung...

My Last Poem
My last poem fell victim to Chrono’s dastardly warps

I dragged the depths of my memory pool, came up with a shriveled corpse.

I beat my breast and wailed like a woman plucked from the Middle Ages..

You can’t scribe without paying your wages

So I present this wine to the sages

Alas! For I have filled my book with blank pages!...

Criminal Minds
Crippled by the gun
Reminders of life being done
In a team
Movement to the scream
Inferno of insanity
Never ending results of vanity
Aluminum scraps all of the scene
Lighting glows in a sheen

Mental breakdowns
Internal empty rounds clattering upon the floor
Napalm dressed corpes
Drowned bodies twisted and warps
Sovling crime is what me do....

Friends R Us 4 Us
Friends of heart for us
Are mountains like
And harbors there
Are there
In back-ups
They are us
As backfires life
Where others
Who we are in chase ghosts
In mist
who missed are mass
where winds
hit in massive at whirls
and warps of life
friends are rare lead in lit
so they are for us light
as warps and whirls in life
friends are us
and they are light
for us...

Reality's Fear
Should I abandon reality's fear?
Open the sky and unlock it clear?
My little gold keys are all I can hear.
Imagination is a dimension,
That twists and warps all singularity.
I find a hallway of bolted down doors,
There is no staircase, but a hundred floors.
Spacing out on rolling, green ocean shores...
I separate myself from five senses.
Reaching for eternity and my soul--...

Simplicity
Beyond known mass
        Unseen pieces crash
  What left called waste
         Unrevealed free one
Till discover by coincidence

Rthyme in no sense escapes
        Burn itself as is
Light oozes in hole warps
            Paces to reveal
Joins crushing its bottom

Push and pull as simple
          Quote to decay as is
Specs in no limits as rules...

Facade Ii
bloody
maimed and broken
dead
from words unspoken

hidden
but never gone
suppressed
not for long

treacherous
my wicked heart
wisdom
the forgotten art

freedom
a mere facade
emotions
our prison bars

love
just hate unseen
apathy
the space between

self
changed by perception
judgment
warps my reflection

opinions
destroy the soul
masochist
so I'm told...

Solo
it crowds
who i am
who i’ve become
the darkness stifles my aura
an unbearable
sense of destruction
a moment of weakness
corrupts my body
a poison
warps my meaning
filled with unknown
as i lay motionless
reality moves closer
no make believe
waking up to a dream
i lay in loneliness
an asylum
i lay in silence
emptiness in spirit
a depth
‘til judgment
i lay in solitude
i lay...

Heartbreak Is the Worst
What you’ve bothered to pick
Is a heartbreak topic:
The mind Ended Love warps
And on one’s folly  harps;
Just as heat could man burst
Still, Heartbreak Is the worst…

Men file in, bed defile,
You’re with an office file.
Joan does not claim it’s right
But expects not a fight.
You’d delayed wedding ring;
So, with Guys face The Ring…

You’d never known women!
I’ve not ruled them “vermin’’....

The Haunted House
It hardly bends around this wall
This light that shines on memory
Like time it pushes forward too
Beyond my life’s cold treasury

And outward from my daily mirror
That light ignores what I knew
Like time it warps what you were
Those beams no longer true

Now shadows roam where light once lit
They reel inside my head
Like the times that once were
They live 'cause you are dead

(8/22/18)...

Weave Valentine Tissue
I was man of my own,
Lived my own,
Did all what I wished;
But then,
She came in my life;
I broke into two,
Lived for me,
And lived for her too;
Closeness and caress,
Between us was like,
Two bodies and one soul;
Dedication surged emotions,
Splitting us into three;
We two as warps,
Cohered the seed for future,
Tight between us,
Wove fine tissue of family,
We two lived for one;

The Treadmill
Slowing down the motor,
running low on gas

The lies, the HOV lane,
the truth off in the grass

The speed counterproductive,
it warps and then transforms

The magic in the stillness,
the beauty heaven born

The light becomes a blurring,
as darkness settles in

Till stepping off the madness,
and travelling within

That fatal rush to judgment,
a quiet now sustains

One choice to stop the treadmill
—all motion rearranged

(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2017)...
