Snow
Snow falls,
drifts in the wind
slides sideways to the ground
like feathers in a pillow fight
fluffy.

A Nonet
A Nonet

A butterfly is freely dancing
has colourful fluttering wings
chooses a special flower
to rest itself upon
gathering nectar
from the pollen
with its' feet
wanting
more.

Premium Member Feelings About Gone With the Wind
Weird we could not find one American to play Scarlett O’Hara.
I was irritated until I saw Vivien Leigh’s eyes,
reminding me of Elizabeth Taylor.
How many are half as beautiful? Rhett Brother is not so very handsome,
But his devilish manner and his suave manners make up for that....

Flora and Fauna
Flora and Fauna

Flowers that dance in the breeze
birds who sing in the trees
kittens to purr on the knees
dogs who can playfully tease
butterflies flutter with ease
fishes who swim in the seas
Koalas that eat gum leaves
large animals, also small bees
pet mice that nibble at cheese
For flora and fauna I say 'please
care and look after all these'.

A New Day
A NEW DAY (A Pantoum)
Draw back the curtain,
Roll up the blind,
sounds that entertian,
What do you find?

Roll up the blind,
Behold the new day
What do you find
All nature's at play.

Behold the new day,
There's so much to hear
All nature's at play
Birds bring you good cheer

There's so much to hear?
Sounds that entertain
Birds bring you good cheer
Draw back the curtain.

Toss That Bag
TOSS THAT BAG

Put all your gloom into a bag
then toss that bag right away.
To drag a gloom bag's heavy,
let sunshine brighten your day.

Life's too short to be held down
with a weight that's hard to bear.
Happiness is a wise choice
that with others you can share.

Fill your mind with happy thoughts
and a smile you will not lag ,
Cheerfulness brings it's rewards
when you put gloom into a bag.

Indulge
INDULGE

To indulge in chocolate
I'm never regretful,
a wonderful blessing,
when tasting each mouthful.
There's creamy fruit centers,
and nuts by the handful.
Plus Turkish Delight, which
I find quite delightful.
With peppermint patties
I won't be forgetful.
And Hershey's sweet kisses
are silver wrapped blisses,
indulging in Chocolate
sure makes me so cheerful.
