(Wined Floor)
The wine brewed without
Drip drop drip drop
Visual temptations lured me
My bronze tresses wet
Down the nape to my soul
Red painted toes
Danced on the wined floor
Decked for love.

Contest: Visual Of A Verso
August 20, 2015
my soul is torn in two
trapped in this tomb
in anguish and despair
do I dare run
hide in shadowed alleys
my scars consume
thoughts I cannot forgive
hope there is none

She’ll never give up hope
He will return
Searching all avenues
Calling his name
Longing to hear his voice
Full of concern
Since Rover slipped the lead
Life’s not the same!
