At dropping of night comes the wind,
bringing sweet dreams filled with magic,
until I awake with the morning.

The bright light of morning
displaces the wind;
all dreams disappear, and the magic.

Why does loss of that magic
give such grief in the morning?
Oh, return sweet night with the wind.

How sweet is that wind at night with the magic;

A solitary soul
Scarred from centuries traveled

Things beyond our normal
A thousand times she's seen
