Seasonal precipice
eErie haze, becalm water
elongating obscurity
Binded
promisingly adorned cirrus
tinged fuscia, luster
Ascending radience
captivating
Still
unnerving
Money flows in and out like a torrent
Which I find unnerving and very abhorrent
The Golden Years Ha!
Peace and joy ever aft
That's a giggle, my bank account is dormant
If you were on telly, how would you feel
Terrified, comfortable, or attack it with zeal
Though this old boar
Has been on before
Still seems unnerving and a wee bit surreal
Kavanaugh Self Serving
We did discover Kavanaugh is self serving,
And like Trump he has become unnerving;
Wears us out,
And no doubt;
Supreme Court Justice position undeserving.

God Placed A Curse
So what could possibly be worser that worse,
And over entire countryside all of it disperse;
Started swerving;
Was unnerving;
On Trump family God had placed a curse.

Republicans Self-Serving and Unnerving
Republicans are not straight and swerving,
And always have proved to be self-serving;
Never savior;
Poor behavior;
Trying our patience while being unnerving.
Jim Horn
Jollity lifts spirits.
Joshing’s great. Let’s hear it!
Jocose friends who, with wit,
jazz things up are a hit!
Jabs can be unnerving;
jibes can be self-serving.
Jesting must be gentle.

Unnerving news, it lit the fuse,
And at "point-blank" range, I was shot
But then we found ourselves amused-
That you were dead and I was not!

As I Walk in contemplation
I find the swiftness of change
to be unnerving at times
rules are revised without warning
variations come and lives are altered
deprived of rhyme or reason
I'm astounded by the anger
questioning change creates.

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
there is profound silence
where there once was life
absence of sound unnerving
no echoes from the past
furniture removed, dust
pictures taken down, empty nails
cobwebs begin to form
sense of sadness and loss
relator's bold sign declares
"For Sale"
Belly dancing can be unnerving especially if they're not attached
You turn away, think you're hallucinating or just becoming detached
It's not a mental disorder
Though you're on the border
Drugs could be to blame but mentalness seems more apt
Like a gentle caress
Song and dance
smiles and clues
Or unnecessary chatter
Cracks on my brain
Blah is the banter
unnerving refrain
like a dangerous dream
Rhythm and blues
peppered w/ distress
Hypnotic laughter
Eyes on the soul
memorable words
You can't release the Hook
Engulfed in darkness
The creeping abyss
The soil beneath me
The night gods above me
The ebony coffin
Awaiting me therein
The blood of the wound
Drawn by the thorn
The darkness of Oblivion
Awaiting Sleeps horn
So I wait for soothing death,
Waiting for my final breath.

i hate people in sterile places
its unnerving
to see them leached of colour,
needles in their skin
like punctured paper
And prodded by white coats , trying to find an answer
Can’t they see the problem?
fake flowers do nothing to lessen the paint of pale walls
sinking into her eyes
There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief.

Happiness in Memoriam
Each neuron tingles with happiness, in unnerving vise.
Presently, the squeeze of brain, heart and grit, unbearable.
The lion’s faint, tin clatters, straw pieces pecked, crows gather.
Fear slithers in.
The snake in my belly
uncoils.
Wrestling restlessness
gives way
to unnerving unease.
I watch and wait.
The snake silences its strike
for now.
I begin to pace.
Anguished anxiety anticipates
as yearning’s yellow yarn
wraps me in the afghan of fear
and the future bites me again.
I looked up into the eyes of a panther
she looked enraged and ready to eat
a carnivore who could eat our flesh pre-kill
her opulent eyes were unnerving and terrifying;
a slow smile came to her lips
I felt like prey
where would I run? how long would the chase take?
Big cats break your back and start with your head.
Greased, thoughtful, sad but..
generating beauty from sadness
Saturating the body in the earths finest ales,
Sound waves as variable as the sea,
Breaking at chance intervals of..
unnerving calm.
Almost like cutting through foam,
where pockets of air appear from nowhere,
allowing sounds to reverberate around the gaps provided.
The cat was looking at him funny
His house had invisible cameras
Refused he to partake of food
Choosing to lock himself up
Eventually they came for him
Put him in a straight jacket
One couldn’t help but feel..
The unnerving chill in the air
As the shrill siren came to life
Delivering him to his new home

The Pulse started yesterday
In the Southern Pacific Ocean
A steady hum that spread out
Unstoppable and no one knew
Where it came from
Or what it was all about
It got into your head
Unnerving and sending you crazy
The first people to hear it
Are now lost to this world
As they stand and stare into space
And now I hear it softly starting…..

Can Be In Constant Fear Of
Took a break on last day of
November, 2018 after hearing
all the latest disturbing news.
Here is the poem I wrote in
conclusion after delusion and
its protrusion.
There are those we are in constant fear of;
They never had and lacked ability to love;
Self-serving,
And unnerving;
Compared to others think are way above.
Jim Horn
