I’m clever; I write the most
magnificent illuminations.
I let my invisible ink
ruminate with passionate flames.
In my fist, I unclench its ash.
I ball and toss; I’m not clever.
My heart a flower bud
Kissed with dawn’s dewy lips
Little arrows strike me
Set forth from the rising sun.
I burst, unfurl, unclench, yield…..
Petals show, I blossom, I color
Truly love is on show.
As I walk in the woods,
the worries
melt
off
my
shoulders.
My jaw softens.
My hands
unclench,
unfurl
like the wings
of the wild geese
that beat the wind.

Do not resist, unclench your fist
Relinquish each desire
God is incharge; that is truth’s gist
With love set heart afire
Gentling touch, ego dies
The pure of heart then rise
Breath by breath in surprise
Feel God’s bliss mist
Do not resist
A whiff of Spring’s
A lovely thing
And oh, such joy
It seems to bring!
A sunny bench
Helps to unclench
The stress and sadness
I can’t quench.
It will not last;
Tonight a blast
Of frigid air
Will come on fast.
But that small whiff
Reminds me if
I wait, there’ll soon
Be blooms to sniff.
Sitting trying to say sorry to the person who you hurt the most
or listening to the person who hurt me the most trying to say sorry
The broken me
Fiercely hating empathy
Psychosis my medication
Wishing the part that feels the felts
was disbanded and castaway on desolate sand
Deserted the pest
unclench the fist
Emotions i resist
Trickles slowly down her face.
Under that smile mask your fear.
Drop by drop you feel this disgrace.
Regretting the end be so near.
Nothing deserved or understood so.
But one thing learned you have no choice but to go.
Pulling you under the bed of disease.
You eyelids wither close with such ease.
Fingers unclench the sheets of the bed.
Millions of butterflies fly from your head.
Peace now been reached up in the sky.
I sit here and smile a butterfly passes by.
The darkness in the night.
A true terror to behold .
Sneaks up on you like,
A pack of ravenous wolves .
Gnashing it's teeth .
Thick, coarse black fur,
to ward off the cold .
Razor sharp teeth,
to rip out your soul .
Its fierce black eyes,
tremulously unclosed .
Sending shivers
down your spine .
It's tremendous jaws,
unclench with a snap .
It's stealthy attack,
comes to fast to react .
There's no moon, no light.
Just the darkness in the night .
Bite, bite . . .
