Dream
Dark hole,
No escape,
Thrash around in my sleep…

Scream,
Awaken from my slumber.

Must break free,
Veiling memories,
Help me escape from-
Me....

Tethered loosely
Hope within painful grasp
Ease off then thrash about...

Abiding in solemn Scotch mists

Kindness
A rush of bile felt I
When the kid helpless
saw I
Sleeping in the house of
thrash.
Then I looked at me
And my stars thanked I!
But it instantly hit me
That kindness begins
but with me!...

Storm
Storm

Summer sky boils
Mother natures way
Fierce ozone and loam

Sway and thrash
Relentless rain falls
Sun bright flashes

Hypnotic cadence this sky
Towers of air
Gravity brings to earth...

A pulse, cascading,
making stars fight and shine
and the voice of the milky air
beating through a rolling mind
finds solace in the space between the stars
where energies collide

we thrash about
in a pool of our bones
squirting ink into the eyes
of a million long dead ghosts

beneath the blackness of our ink
we snip off the arms of our sanity
one by one by one.... we slowly sink
into echoes of our snapping beak...

--- things-in-themselves ---

restless glinting fish

thrash this way, that,

only thinking that they're trapped

behind four glass walls,

inside their glass suburban house....

Nature the Destroyer
the heavens darken
a sinister milieu looms
calm before the rage

angry pellets thrash
violent winds crave destruction
there is no mercy

the heavens lighten
greenish hue reveals ruin
obliteration

In the low tides of March
Nothing is explained
It’s all silk and concrete
All lies and naked virtue
Defendants of the rosemary bush
We thrash through doors and squeeze skin
Like desperate people.

So take me now,
Rip my clothes off.
Be with me....

Blue
For want of air he doth thrash At this line of silken sash. For lack of breath he doth stir As his sight begins to blur. For loss of land he doth dangle With neck at an unholy angle. For need of ground he doth float O'er the water of a murky moat.

Sadness
Like the sachet
Of a detained schoolboy
Taunt, tease, thrash, threaten, terrorize
Sadly

Sadly
Sachet full with
Colorful memories
Captivate, caress, convince, cure
Serene

Serene
Sadness gives way
Sachet memories soon
Savors secure, smoothes shines, shields, saves
Smoothly

Heartache/Lovers Confession
Vengeance!
Vengeance, Vengeance, Vengeance!
I thrash and scratch and run.
I ran as fast and far as possible,
Not even light could catch me.

Wrath, Oh wrath!
I wish to unleash you,
You are trapped in my heart.
I cannot release you.

Crying out,
I see a light on the horizon.
Your face in the distance,
All but a dream....

I No Longer Like Nash
I no longer like Nash,
At him teeth gnash;
A chance and his head bash
For being grossly rash
In his spending of cash
Over a bought sash

All his reasons “Thrash”
To him like a child trash!

I shall no longer see Nash,
For it shall end in a crash,
Now quite sure he’s brash…

Indeed, this way Nash
To another I’ll dash!...

Thrash without mercy or conscious intent
	the torrent rages past consciousness
streaming debris beggared by the breeze
moving life’s with fullness and ease
Governing the listless, the lingerers lost
moving the precious along with the dross
	hammering the fragile
soothing the source
profoundly

Living Fears
Broken words thrash in my tears

as I way the price of living fears.

Abusive anticipations constricting my perception

of the delicate times I desire

in the approaching tides of time.

But more do I value the delight

of present times spent with my significant.

So I wait for the tides to drift in

and relish the love I currently possess....

Day's end ~ fiasco, near constant assail. Discounting what's here, I crave what I lack. In my own strength, I am set up to fail. Regret for those words too late to take back... Forgetting purpose, I thrash and I flail; with each step taken, I'm further off track. Thankfully, grateful I can again say, So tender His mercies, new every day.

He stands on the slippery crag of Simon’s Seat
has done since time became tradition
from the Lupus a call to the Luna moon
howling at the illuminant of the night.
His descendants thrash the poignant air
a reminder of a fear once gone, forgotten
yet, today there are many still hold them fair
but it is the moon that drives the begotten.

See your horror
And stop blaming me
