Between the Lines

Is reason the straightest road
to percipience
Or is truth intuition
—memory’s black hole

Mccain Was Greatest and Straightest

McCain Was Greatest and Straightest

Was up to date with news and reading latest,
We noticed it mentioned McCain is greatest,
On surely rely;
Always bull's eye,
And of all shooters will stay the straightest.

6-28-12

Watching myself from behind
Chasing words on the front
Dieing on the the rear
But my life is going along
Shots of death inside
Life escaped outside

I wonder where we would have
been
If we chose our paths w/out a
bend
Boring life the straightest road
Midnight holds the great
unknown

Take The Side Roads

My father always said
Take the straightest route
It is always the safest way to go
Trod by all sensible people
I found that yes, it may be safe
And well trodden by everyone else
The most beautiful scenery
And the most interesting people
Are always on the side roads
Waiting for the people who are like them
Those special ones who take detours in life

You & Me

Let the me in you
Let the you in me
Be at the very heart
Be the very heart
Of the us in you
Of the us in me.

Let the me in you
Let the you in me
Mate and melt down
To be the very one
To be the only one
They are meant to be.

Let love
Be the main road
Let love
Be the only road
Between you and me.

Let love
Be the smoothest road
Let love
Be the straightest road
Between you & me.

Perversion

Because of perversion,
  the straightest path bends

Because of perversion,
  confusion befriends

Because of perversion,
  all smiles a frown

Because of perversion,
  up is now down

Because of perversion,
  the truth is a lie

Because of perversion,
  a pig seeks to fly

Because of perversion,
  all evil portends

Because of perversion,
 —this world will soon end
