husband grabs branch
releases wing
from spider’s web

in final passby
colorful butterfly
breezes past window pane

humid & hopeful days
red, white, blue
flag waves

stars flutter
behind afternoon skies
trustworthy diamonds

things seen and unseen
nevertheless
God’s eyes see all
