Premium Member she spins she twirls

she spins, she twirls, she shakes and laughs
young and athletic, your age by half of half
you love watching her moves, remembering
when twirling and dancing were also your thing.

Premium Member The Wheel Spins

The wheel spins, no crowd gathers ‘round
the arrow points neither up nor down

Nine months inside Mom
   hope gestation was calm

My prayer that intact you survive
nourished by love to blossom and thrive

One of the masters of the haiku form, Basho, defined haiku as "Simply what is happening in this place at this moment."

The World As It Spins

Needless to say the world will not stop spinning. Now let us celebrate and be merry or is that only on the holidays? More holidays are needed. I do not want to live the rest of days angry, hoping, waiting and praying for father's day so I can get my tools. Wait am I a father or just a child. It does not matter because the World refuses to stop spinning. Many people move too fast to understand. See clearly and drive safely. Celebrate, go ahead.

Premium Member Flat Spins

Grow strong but remember your roots,
explore the world yet seek what is still.
Moment to moment find what suits.

When we let go and tumble downhill,
those hard rolls ignite that inner core.
Nurturing soil brings a spiritual refill.

With just one taste left wanting more,
mastering rules bosses stacks wins.
Don’t aim simply to even the score.

Fly a little bit higher lifted by flat-spins,
embrace the past as you shed old skins.

The Wheel Spins . . .

A synopsis untried, a life unended
The wheel spins as the days protract

A look at the mirror surrounding the dire
I feel my soul, my life and my being

Each day that I be
Each moment that I see
Fundamentally I decree

Knowledge be'eth my surrender

Yet self provoked it opens adventure
Lies and deceit, the dacoit he knoweth

So infinite and atomic
Indefinate to us all
Supposed awesome wonder at his behest
Quality awaits this unfathomable test
